How does a hero of a different troop type affect Apex Match?

I still use low-star heroes, at least +5 enhanced, for their tactical skills. I usually deploy all 5 heroes of the same troop type.

I’m wondering if it’s better to use a higher-enhanced hero of another troop type instead. For example, my excess Rider hero Marlowe +7 (75%) gives general troop stats rather than just Rider stats. In that case, would he be better to use than my 4-star Fighter hero Seo-Yun +5 (50%)?

Troop armor = dmg taken down its much more effective than a boost to hp or def as it is a seperate multiplier
