What’s good about this event is you can save from previous events

click on the plane to fight in the campaign. there you get books to evolve heroes past levels like for example 30. the materials you get to upgrade them after the books are from zobies on the map or lairs you can do with your alliance together

Even if you had set a defense, it probably wouldn't have mattered unless you bought challenge tokens and kept fighting. I got all the way to 8th place and nearly completed the 1300 point achievement. Before reset I was unranked and had dropped all the way to only 1002 points.

I noticed that too! One of my smaller accounts which is HQ 30 with 263 mil might can easily clear a 6. Another of my HQ 30's (12 are 30 one is 31) is 274 mil and needed help halfway through! Both are riders. Idk maybe cores play into it? They are almost identical otherwise for their base might, even their heroes.
By might I mean total might not the march might. Those are around 68 mil
