When we tried to clarify what they meant, took em about 5 minutes after the match started to fix that, and then not even five minutes later they hit our nap tower getting a truck because we were sitting in one of the 4 they'd claimed mistakenly.
After two minutes of them sitting in our tower and not replying, I just decided diplomacy was overrated and to go out with a bang for my last res war with that alliance.

From what I can tell, you need 33 tiles for an "optimal" Shooter Specialty layout. Those 33 tiles take 783 frags. Every extra wrong color tile will take 30 frags to roll after that. (Different layouts for Fighter/Rider might take a slightly different # of tiles.)

I don't think getting resource boxes from shovel are cost-efficient. Because 1 advance material box have the rss amount only equal to 1 small rss box. Unless you want some skin for your farm
For my farm accounts, I do the first 8 stages of Scorch Earth event, buying rss box from Diamond exchange event to get resource from diamond.

First 8 floors from Scorch Earth cost around 10-12k diamond and give you 240 small rss boxes, equal to 1,8m gas (or any kind of resource you need). And resource box from Diamond exchange event provide 75k gas for 500 diamond. These 2 options are much cheaper than buying directly from regular diamond shop.
Only do first 8 floors of Scorch Earth on your farm, higher floor are expensive and not cost efficient if you don't need promote/enhance/nanoweapon box.
Even in your main account, first 8 floors also good to go, floor clear reward include 3 AP items, 50 stamina and some additional items. You can choose 6 AP items and 100 nanotubes for milestone reward, or anything you want.
All those items for 10-12k diamond, huge profit

You can buy 200 rss boxes from each Diamond exchange event, equal to 15m gas (or whatever equivalent rss type) with the cost of 100k diamond. Also exchange shop are fixed once a month.

5-7k advance box equal to 37.5m - 52.5m gas, if it cost less than 300-350k diamond, it's better than Diamond exchange shop.
