As f2p its the alliance that needs to be active to thrive. But personality and vibong I an active alliance is also key. You could probably find a medium ish state you aren't an ant and still get good events and be useful

Issue I faced in 725 was the alliance I was temporarily in didn't have as much activity, boxes weren't plentiful, and yet I was still dealing with the negatives of a big state with few of the positives. I do like the alliance I'm currently in, but doesn't change objective of gtfo.

Thats what most don't understand. You only get 200 in rare earth per week, 200 in ruins per week and whatever in water wars. For 180k diamonds every 4 weeks you can get 3k tubes. That's 150 aps equivalent. And based on what happened last shovels 150 ap only got me like 800 tubes. So I know where I weight. I prefer on a set goal going for gaurenteed than gambling even if rewards are decent in shovels.

Once your alliance tech is maxed you get alliance star so you can continue to donate. There is just no more to research
