Hi everyone! Anyone know why in Nuka if you are shielded, sometimes you tile hit and pop your shield instead of bouncing off? Is it the length of the march?

If someone is already on the tile when you set a march there, it is considered attacking and will pop your bubble. If someone is headed there when you set a march, your bubble should stay intact because it is considered gathering and not attacking since tile is still technically free. If the bubble doesn't then it is possible glitz

Your might doesn't affect the matching. Only your HQ level and your selected timeframe do. HQ levels are grouped into the following categories:
HQ15 to HQ18,
HQ19 to HQ24,
HQ25 to HQ29,
HQ30 to HQ35.
I'm HQ22 with 40 million might and I get matched with HQ23 with 100 million might 😅

You can't get in the middle not being a hq35 but easily can get top10 by being on lvl4 mines. Depends on your chosen time.

what level are you? As if you are in Nuka with level 35s, that would imply you are at least HQ 30 yourself, and you can not really stop this if it is within your group, as 30 - 35 are in a Nuka all their own.

I dont see it working very well, each division, the highest in their ranking will obviously have an advantage, no matter how you move it around, having just one level compete is kinda boring sounding, i get people want more fairness, but it also sounds like they want it at the expense of a free ride in.

There should always be somebody higher than you to make it more a challenge, part of the fun can be taking chances you wouldnt normally take, because there isnt a lot on the line to lose, you get all your troops back, you dont lose RSS and you have a chance if you get some good weapons to go for it.

I don't think that would work as I said. That's just a part of getting up to that level, its up to you though to figure out tactics and stagedy, that's part of the challange of it. If a level 30 without fighting for the boxes in the wasteland can still place in the top 10 its still a good sign they can work around it, get a couple blast grenades and mammoth shields, and see what you can do as well.

To all the not-yet-30-players complaining about 30-35 bracket: that bracket is the most peaceful Nukaland bracket I have seen in this game. Yes, a 2b might player might zero you, but usually that only happens if you tried to take a box in the Center or steal their mine. Or it happens in the last minutes where nobody loses anything. And if they really are after you you have 3 free relocates to find a more peaceful place and continue your gathering

I had an incredibly courteous Nuka time last night. I’m not big, but a 35 near me hit two of my tiles and messaged me! They apologized and then said they wouldn’t hit any more of my tiles. We spent the rest of the hour returning from tiles we had both marched to if the one who reached it first wasn’t the one who started first. But that wasn’t the only nice player in Nuka. I got message from someone else offering me a tile we were both marching to, but they got to first. TWO super nice players in Nuka. Definitely NOT what I’m used to.

I def saw folks there burning other players, which I find interesting since there are no points granted in the event for killing troops. Maybe it’s a really good place to test out your formations since they come back and you can’t lose any resources?

Nope, you're right. It's a war game and I openly admit that I don't have the stomach for it sometimes. But, as @kindred galleon said, collecting Nuka ore is the point of this event. So, unless you can plunder sanctuaries for ore (which could be really realy fun!), it seems like running around attacking sanctuaries is counter to what you need to do in order to gain points and rewards in the event. But I do agree that you may need to attack some tiles in order to get onto a tile to gather. I've always wondered what the calculation is for number of tiles/participant. It's like some crazy musical chairs...

Yeah, it is a war game, and there are events that cater to the warcentric nature of the game, so why waste time in an event where that is not the point. I can see hitting a sanctuary if they are say too close to you as a way to tell them to move, but to go out of the way to do it during an event where you really get nothing out of it seems counterproductive to the event you are in. You wont get points for this here, like you would in say VC.. so doing it for the sake of doing it, just to pad your numbers a little is to me rather pointless.

If that is how somebody plays the game, so be it.. but to me, I would rather be collecting, and making my points, otherwise an hour is wasted on something with little return on risk to reward.

For me if somebody comes to close to me where it is a problem, i will first message that player and tell them before i do that though, or if there are enough spots to share, at least tell them we can work together.

But every moment spent attacking somebody for something is a moment i can spend collecting and getting my points, so I would rather not spend time doing that if i have no reason to.

Si c'est comme ça que quelqu'un joue le jeu, alors soyez-le... mais pour moi, je préfère être en train de collecter, et de faire mes points, sinon une heure est gaspillée sur quelque chose avec peu de retour sur le risque pour récompenser.

It is basically the same game, just instead of zombies it is a more mythology themed game, but the heroes are basically the same, just different names, if you know Survival, you already know Conquest.

But it came first, and gets certain updates before Survival does, like they had the alliance party a good month or two before Survival, and they have Castle level 40, and T12 troops, and some additional research when you hit castle 36.

I would not take that as truth either, the one thing about conquest i find is that even though they have higher levels, they resources to get there are actually lower than Survival, so Survival kinda makes up for having less at this point by making the values for upgrade higher. So using conquest numbers to say it will be the same is not really the best way to judge how much it will be here.

for most stuff yes, at least from my experience, to get higher up takes less take i have found, like i could have 3 red star gear in the time it took me to get 1 here at about same level.

I have only just went back to it again, as a way to test how well i can do there knowing Survival, and i find it is easy, because if you know one you know the other, everything is the same, just different names for most events and items.

But i do not really wanna say i recommend playing both, playing one already puts me in the poor house, playing 2 will get me there twice as fast lol.

so conquest i treat as a more casual game, while Survival is my primary, as just think if you already spend enough time here, you could be spending the same time there doing the same things.

that did answer one question i had about redeeming codes on the website for ios users, you will notice instead of S15 for example, they list it as K15, because in Conquest it is called a Kingdom, so you would be K15 there, and S15 here lol.

Well,. not to say there are good might numbers in that sense, but i think there is a case of you can tell how some people rush to get to a level for the sake of getting to a level, and other people will stick at a level and grow to a certain point where they have higher might for that.

This will have different factors, but if one rushes for the sake of doing something, that can show.

But i mean when i see somebody who is 2 levels higher than i am, and I know I can take them, its kind of like, you got there for the sake of getting there.

Nothing wrong with doing it, everybody plays the game different, but i feel like for me personally, kinda says i am not as worried when i was HQ 28 and 160M and see a 29 or 30 who is like 110M lol.

so my point isnt that having that is bad, but thinking by defualt that somebody 1 level higher than you is going to be hard to beat just because they are 1 level higher is not the case, when other things factor into it.
