I went from 24 to 29 in one day, with just rss boxes I had accumulated

And I’m talking not just HQ, every single building from 24 to 29

I upgraded in February from 24 to 29. So far I have been consistently using boxes to train more troops and accumulated another 6k boxes

nuka matching seems so messed up to me as a new (5-6m) player. If I really want top nuka, I need to immigrate to a higher server that is still server based matching, get top nuka a few weeks, and then immigrate back home lmao

Before all this new mess with 34s unlocking t11s and 40s with t12s, the brackets were basically restricted to the highest available HQ before entering into the next troop tier.

One friend won nuka yesterday and this is the might of the hq26 that got 2nd place and over 100k points. Definitely not usual, but I keep saying that strategy and luck may help. If you want to upgrade, go ahead, there are definitely a lot of benefits and yes, you can work on “getting gud” as hq30+. My personal decision was to stay at 29, maybe I’m just stubborn lol. Most important is to have fun

When you upgrade the HQ , the only two things that happen is, gain a tiny bit of march size and unlock tons of new research,… but you still need to actually research it….

So have you maxed out all the research on your previous HQ before considering the upgrade? If not, no real benefit…

What I'm saying is long story short is a baby player just starting walks into an alliance and is doing massive growth your not gonna be insignificant. If your ever in an alliance that dismisses your growth and including you and your opinions your in the wrong spot I love old states for stability. My advice to you , keeping it nuka related. Stay on HQ 29 work on your troop count , stats , heroes and research. Play the nuka . And stay till you start ranking top 100 consistently the top 75 then top 50. And then revise upgrading. I can't tell you how many hq 35 and up I run into in Valiant and Reswar/Clash with no formations unlocked

If you’re that eager to upgrade, and brave the stats differences, best I can say is, stay out of hq35.

With a 34 now you have access to t11 troops and have all cubes and modules unlocked.

There is absolutely zero reason to go higher

Cubes are trash and so expensive. I think if you have 7* Cubes, work on Bios to to point where it hurts to promote/enhance - and then go to Cubes. Every player has 2 Focus ATK and 2 Troop ATK for Bios - compared to the 9-12 for Cubes.

I used to prioritize cubes, but found that spending at 4:1 ratio (Cube to Bio) yielded the same result for Rider ATK. So I'm now reversing the spending to 4 Bios for 1 Cube.

Showdown rewards I've always taken glory but recently I've been grabbing refiners. That's probably the way for me to go now.

I hate that cores are locked behind such a high HQ wall.
At least with level-locked modules and cubes, you can work on the ones you have or the ones you're missing for when it's time to upgrade.
But not even being able to touch cores/sim at 29 is ridiculous.
It's not like research where you can just catch up and be done with it. Every day you don't do sim is a day you'll be behind everyone else. It's like if bios were locked behind a high HQ level.

I think if your eventual goal is to be hq 30+ then camping at 29 for nuka is no longer viable

But if nuka is your fun in the game nothing stops you from just staying put at 24 or 29

Though I think the cores will affect heroes in a big way too

Not congrats, T12 are ridiculously expensive in both resources and time. It takes about 7 hours to promote 2.9K T10s to T11, but takes 19 hours to promote the same T11 to T12s. No wonder HQ40s go so hard during WK, they need that +300%.
