I wasn't going for boxes so it didn't matter that much except everyone likes to raid in the last few minutes so I could have gotten hit and wouldn't have been able to do anything about it. You would think PNS staff knows when the event slots are so they wouldn't push updates during events. They could have just waited another 15 minutes to push the update.

That is part of the arguement I’ve been presenting on the Mod reports for a long time. If you provide players with opportunities to find value in mid sized spending, they will. But when you cater only to heavy spenders, those players who would spend a modest amount simply wont spend at all

Recently it doesn't seem like the 4s are overcrowded, it now seems like they're stuffing all the big players into the same map. I keep seeing the same folks. Like I'd literally never seen hillside, Mr menace, Phil, grizz, and some other annoying riders before the changes but now I see them almost every week.

@gritty perch is incorrect on this. Recent updates have increased the number of ores, so players aren't as desperate and attacking left & right anymore.

I'd say you can get by with as little as 3M Focus Troops, if your stats are high enough and can time marches correctly.

In the old Nuka this wouldn't work as opponents will know you don't have enough troops to withstand multiple marches for the whole event, so the 10M Focus Troops would be needed.

Yes now on the boxes it’s more so who’s got stats and March size to hold it in last few seconds. Back in the day if someone had more troops and didn’t want you to have a box, they could just repeatedly send at yours to prevent you from getting it. I learned that the hard way when I just coming into the scene. Even if you had riders vs someone’s fighters, if they had twice as many troops they could just bully you out a box

If you think that way, then there is no need to share my strategy. If you paid attention to the leaderboards, you would notice it's not always the strongest player that wins the event. Yes, whales have a huge advantage. But even they can't take 2+ hits from another big account while a box's timer expires.
