That doesn't add up. You can gather more and faster at Level 4 tiles than at Level 3 tiles. Which bracket are you in? I'm in the 25-29 bracket and if I just gather from L4 tiles, I usually rank #8-#14.

If you don't steal than that explains why you aren't ranking when you try to gather L4 tiles. You have to have all 5 marches gathering at all times. Send full marches so it's harder for other folks to steal. The best is when a HQ ports in and then tries to steal your tiles but fails miserably because they aren't strong enough. 😄

You don't need to do anything. Grenades are automatically used when you attack a tile. And if you have a shield and get attacked with a grenade, it will automatically activate.

Did 1st slot 20-24 with my farm. Did the usual send out full marches to nearby tiles. Hit someone that was slightly weaker than me. They got offended and started hitting all of my tiles. So wasted like 10 minutes battling until we declared a truce. They ended up #42 and I ended up #38. Both of us would probably would have finished T10-T15ish if we didn't have that little spat at the start.

It's kinda annoying because people always complain about someone hitting something. It's nuka. People are gonna hit. We have 4 events a week. WK/RW are already pretty much NAP based, so that leaves 2 events. VC is basically finished in the first 10mins and then having to wait for shields that may or may not drop. So that leaves nuka to rampage

The rewards are nice, but what's the point in the rewards if you can't hit tiles/HQs etc? 👀

My point is is that they're ruining the purpose of Nuka. You battle over tiles if someone comes in and zeroes out smaller players then they pretty much chase those players out of the event.

I'm also saying I have no problem with getting hit it's not a big deal, but they weren't in there to play the game they were in there just for kills.

Interesting fact : the bracket is decided when you select your time slot, not when the signup period ends. If you select it, then upgrade your HQ right after without changing it, you'll stay in your current bracket. I've done this for a 29 to 34 jump.

In Nukaland most of the players gathering troop march speed is to fast. How? Are they using march speed up. I will join today for 3rd time in nuka.

You can skill in nova economy your march speed, also when you use riders they are the fastest march speed by their own, much faster then shooters or fighters. For nuka tiles (and only for them, not for normal tiles at the normal map) its enough to send just 1 rider to gather whole nuka tile, if you dont have enough for full marches

I usually send out just one rider to nuka tiles and when someone attacks me there i start sending full marches out

There really isn’t a guidebook for nuka.

• Sent 1 rider to collect
• take shield off to not automatically come back if your tile is taken, saves you time
• if you want to attack, attack with full March a nearly full collected tile, that gives you more points.

Bombs and Shields are only useful if you intend to fight. If you're just starting out, that might not be the best idea. When I first started doing Nuka, it was a lot of bubbling and running away. 😄

That's true. I usually try and make a calculation on whether or not I can take boxes early. If I don't think I can take boxes, I'll go and bully folks on the tiles. Like this past Nuka, I ported to the edge and my neighbor took out my 2nd march easily. They didn't even use heroes so I figured it wasn't my day so I ported away to the L4 tiles cluster instead.

As far as I can tell, you can't get 100k without holding at least a few boxes. If I just mine and raid, I top out at around 75k. If I can grab a L1 and a L2 box, I get somewhere around 95k. Sometimes over 100k if I can also mine the center L5 mine for a bit.

I've been advocating for a tiered system based on your previous results, much like Rez War or Wasteland. Those HQs that have been doing well get promoted to the next tier while those who can't get a healthy score get demoted to a lower tier. That way players can't squat at HQ24/29/34.

The issue is players not being able to collect due being killed. That would just create more kills. If I were to tank a nuka , I would straight up be knocking everybody out of boxes and burning down sancts. That would not solve the issue in my book.

Grabbed two L1 boxes but the two big FIghter HQs kicked my behind so I couldn't keep a L2 box. But once they secured #1 and #2, they allowed the rest of us to fight for the remaining boxes so I grabbed a L4 to finish #3 with 116k (they told me to let someone else take the L5). Very nice of them, I must say.

Yeah, the march size limit is a pain since I don't have Scarlet (I'm F2P). I've only been the strongest HQ only once so far. I also have been unlucky with Nanos so I don't have either Shooter nano as Epic or Apex. Which really hurts when the other players have better nanos.

So fighting for boxes is a hit or miss proposition. Some players are greedy and take all the boxes. Some other players only want enough boxes to finish #1 or #2.

But that's OK, I get enough rewards from Nuka to make it worthwhile squatting at 29. 🙂

If you're just gathering, look at the HQs around you to see how strong they are. Most stronger HQs will try raid mines close to them to get extra points. So be ready to run away if they are attacking your mines. Otherwise, if you are stronger than the surrounding HQs, leave mines close to you empty so you can raid them easier.

The 800M+ HQs usually battling in the middle for boxes so they won't worry as much about raiding. It's the mid-sized strong HQs that you have to worry about.

Oh, it's nor an hour of stress for one measly perfect. I ranked 34th so I got a whopping 5 perfect frags. I had absolutely no idea that anyone outside of top 3 got perfects for rank 😂

I managed to break into the first tier of perfect rewards, so that's nice. Didn't plunder but I managed to farm 4s the whole time.

Still had to weave and dodge getting plundered.

You'll quickly learn that folks stay at 24/29/34 to farm perfect frags from nuka for a while. That means they'll be at that the top of the division while increasing their power and increasing their might by training troops.

Here's an example of someone that's in the same bracket as me (HQ 25-29). And they were still 29.

The only way you can "get around" the HQ limit is to sign up for one bracket, then upgrading your HW after you've signed up. And that's only good for one time because next time you'll be in the correct bracket.

But even then you're still very likely going to get merced by the mega monsters in that bracket lol.

It's just one strategy. On one hand, you'll be gaining "free" perfect frags, but on the other hand you'll be handicapped by your HQ level. Mainly for march vs march stuff since you'll eventually have plenty of troops to defend your sanctuary in hq vs hq fights.

I've decided to do it so I don't have to worry about upgrades for a while. I've been sitting at 29 for a couple months (state is a little over 3 months old). Caught up on all my main buildings, almost done with all my economy buildings, finished all my research except formations which is about halfway done.
And while I'm doing all that and accruing troops and event rewards, I'll also be getting several perfect frags per week in the meantime.

While you're squatting at a HQ level, you'll also be accumulating rss, speedups, and blueprints. When I upgrade from 29, I'll be able to move to 34 without needing to wait on anything.

Just finished Nuka. Went OK except this Shooter wouldn't let go of a L2 box so I wasted a bunch of time fighting them. They were just a little weaker so it took them 2 marches to reset the box. I would grab it back with my next march but they wouldn't give up until we killed so many troops. I think they ran out of troops because they didn't even bother contesting me for the L5 mine after that (that the huge HQs allowed everyone else to mine because they had locked up #1 and #2). So missed out on 100k but did score 86k for #4.

The higher level mines have higher mining rates. The mine at the center is a L5 so you can mine fastest there. But there's only one L5 so you have to be pretty strong to hold it.

All my modules are lvl 5, cuz i just put modifiers in all 4 slots to get the guaranteed upgrade. it’s more material costly but i’d rather spend more material for a guaranteed result than lose it on a chance

I'd like to set some goals for when I move on from 29.
At the very least, I'd like to unlock formations + finish the research below it.
I don't know if +8ing my two main focus heroes is a reasonable goal or not. I'm at ~30-50/200 for +7. +8 is 500 after that.
I assume gcmc should be part of my goals. 9-star all my main focus gear, chips and modules. Unsure about cubes because they're so many promoters for not very much % increase.
I know acquiring speedups and resources for some amount of HQ/building/research is mandatory. I haven't done the math on any of it yet.

I beleave I held middle entire event, plus 3 boxes, and had 1 march clearing 4 tiles for the person I picked to help that time and still didn't finish it...

Maybe need to get better at gathering ore 🤣

With holding the centre and all the time gathering ore can finish but need to attack some other player mines coz the lvl4 mines arent available all the time,its how i finished,feeling sorry for the players i stole but no other choice

Woke up really late once the lv4 boxes had 1 min to gather and take so had to speed to all 3 and message the rank 1 to tell them congrats cause I had no change of beating them 🤣
