Save lair boxes, event boxes promote materials and hoard them weeks on end if necessary and use when events arise you can rank in. Can do it for Ace or off week events, just takes time and patience if you don't plan to buy your way through an event win.

Save arena boxes too, as they often have flint frags.
Save up all those Noah coins as well.
Save ruins coins, except for a daily each day, for McArty frags.
Save arena coins, if you can get any, for flint and Devana frags.
I do all of that, lol, for two weeks, then use it the frag day immediately after Ace. I don’t always get something without buying ten frags, but quite often I do.
This does depend, though, on how active your alliance is with lairs.

I mean I imagine newer states are for new players. I suggest always starting in one and growing there, so everybody is more on equal grounds, and not a huge might level difference. Then once you get somewhere higher you can immigrate to another older state.

Yeah, I know I joined the newest map at the time I started playing, it's just there were dozens of players who clearly knew how to play and what to do and were streets ahead of everyone else within a few hours. I didn't even know what the hub was until yesterday yet loads of alliances moved there basically straight away.

No. You can only bind one account to that Game Center. What you are trying to do is merge two accounts into one. That isn’t possible

If you did bind it your other account would actually be overwritten, so don’t try that!

Is there a guide to lair mechanics anywhere? I understand them a little in Puzzles & Conquest. But even tho the lairs here scout the same as in PnC the mechanics are completely different for some reason. In PnC my "Rider" Commander is a bit weaker than my one in PnS but can kill a 39 solo and Duo a 41-42 depending on the partner. Here I can solo a 38 and Duo a 40 with a strong partner. 41-42 are out of the question unless one of the 3-4 in the state that can tackle them hosts. So I'd like a guide on mechanics and optimal configurations specifically for PnS if there is one available.

4 heroes of the same type, yes. If you have shooters joining a rider lair then a shooter troop hero like Requiem would fire her tactical as fifth. To the second question: depends if we’re talking type specific heroes or troop hero. For type specific (like Zephyr/Phoenix/Obsidian) replacing a 3* +5 works best at +4. for troop heroes you need at least +6 and/or red star.

Mostly because he’s the best choice for yellow hero that you can get without paying. So to have all colors in your lineup many players want to have a high Meyers anyway, so it’s their best troop hero most of the time

Depends on what „without paying“ means to you. At the most basic level that List is called a 5* choice card. But then there’s Eve from the ruins. And by saving and hoarding enough for some time you can get Obsidian, Atropos, Nam Hayul, Phoenix, Zephyr, Lady M and Leah from Events. With saving joy coins for several weeks you can also get Agent X, Mantis, Chia-Hao and Tomoyo. From reservoir war you can get Levina. But Ironclaw and Scarlett are almost impossible to get without paying.

Ok. Can someone actually explain hero tactical skill to me? Assuming you have +5 or better heroes, it should be 500% unit damage, if the hero unit joins the fight. But, I’m a rider, with a hero line of Obsidian, Fox, Reyn, Dom and Percival. Obs +3, the rest +5. They are all riders, should all get tactical skills. BUT, if I replace Percival with +4 Requiem, my damage goes up. Percival +5 gives 25% boost to everything, Requiem +4 gives 25.6% boost, BUT should lose tactical skill in an all rider march. It doesn’t make sense to me that the extra 0.6% stat boost from requiem could outweigh a 500% damage from Percival…

Also, economy heroes also supposedly have a tactical skill boost, but they don’t have a troop type (unless it’s vehicles?) so how is that possibly supposed to apply?

Make sure you really like the mid- and low-level prizes you choose, so you're not disappointed when you only get them. The coins don't roll over like they do with Joy, so go ahead and spend them whenever you want.

Only four heroes of each type can use their tactical skill in battle (because there are four groups of each type only apparently). You can see that in the replays. The game decides which heroes to use for that by their star level, not enhancement (sadly) which is why it prefers your +3 Obsidian with 200% tactical over your Percival with 500%. You probably would get better results when you switch Obsidian with Requiem, because then you‘d have four rider heroes using their 500% tactical.

1 troop no heroes vs 1 troop full heroes = less casualties/better defense by about 1 to 5% on average.

Full hero + vehicles is a dumb move for the vehicle person, as they're going to have to heal a pile of vehicles, but they're going to get hit by the lair first, and can't "fight back" against lairs. This can be "helpful" to new players from the veterans in the alliance, but generally isn't worth it unless you have piles of rss to burn.

It will keep happening. There is one set of pits across the entire game. 300+ states share all those pits. If you move down a level, it will continue to happen. You need to look at what you're gathering and decide if the higher level/faster gather plus getting stolen nets you more or less rare earth than a lower level pit with marginally lower likelihood of being robbed. Unlike Nukaland, there's no bonus for completing a pit. If you're online, you might consider recalling your pit crew and looking for another pit to mine when you get under two hours of mining time remaining. Somewhere in that vicinity is when the amount you've gathered starts to look attractive for stealing. Of course, there are also players who are just looking to get into a pit and will steal the first one they see that looks weak enough to beat- so no strategy will keep you from having your pit stolen other than spending thousands of dollars to have the strongest troops in the game.

I wouldn't recall every 90 minutes - It's a 6-7 hour gather. I'd recall every 4-5 hours. If you get hit, you lose 20-30K earth, which is about an hour of gather time. The earlier you get hit in the cycle, the less it costs. The real loss happens from not knowing you were hit and sitting idle for three hours in terms of accumulating earth. Additionally, if you need to "steal" to get into a pit, you can only do that five times per day (reset to reset), so you'll run out of attacks pretty quickly.

I specifically look for under-strenght, 1 hour left pits so that I can steal the max of about 30k. If you're 25million might, in a level 5 pit area and you have over 100k rare earth? that's on you, friendo.

For this? 15-9 for blue books, 21-9 for blue/pink combo with a side of orange. 21-9 costs 20 per, so you can do 6 blitzes for 120ap, 15-9 costs 14 per. if you do the blitzes as part of your dailies and you wait a bit, you can get to 140ap (+10 bonus ap per box tier in the daily boxes) which nets you 10 blitzes.

Hi Breezy, Edred from S337 here. Continuing the question regarding the boost from the monument applicable to the alliance territory only or anywhere, here's the SS of the gathering speed side-by-side.
From left to right, the tests conducted are:

1. Gathering speed when I'm not in an alliance
2. Gathering speed when I'm in an alliance but outside the hive
3. Gathering speed when I'm in an alliance and inside the hive
   All of these are performed in the controlled environment (I was using 50% gathering boost and they were valid throughout the tests).
   This is how I think that the monument boost can be enjoyed anywhere. Please tell me if I missed out anything!

I have another question about the monument - I wasn't sure if you caught that in the S337 state chat earlier. It was regarding whether the monument will stay intact when the alliance officer force recycles the alliance fortress. When we had balloon event, my alliance officer force recycles the fortress - and the balloon went poof with it. But it seems that it's different with the monument event this time around. I found another alliance in a different state who built the monument first and then moved the hive (the monument remained intact in its original hive).

It'd be nice if the two things I learnt about the monument (ie boost can be enjoyed anywhere and will stay intact until its expiry) are true.

He can be helpful at higher levels, and even at the start. He is a red star for me, and with the hunt mastery on, I can do a 40 zombie with only 12 stamina, so I can do 10 40 zombies in a hunt on full. He certainly helps, and is a great hero... but more so once he gets up to red star. He is a good here at early stages, and becomes great at higher.

I would get him, but if you are that close and have other heroes you may wanna use them on first, save u p in the pit for a while and get his frags there.

Save up some lair boxes as well, should be the hero upgrade event coming up, and if you can save up and get him or others, also have a chance at the Epic Choice cards.

Yes, she is available off week of GAC from various tasks. She can be really hard to get though if you have not saved up a lot of the materials you need to qualify. Remember you have to not only qualify, but clear all the stages of points to as well. Even if you were to get say 999th place ranked, but have not finished all the points needed to finish that, you will not get the frags.

It took me almost a year of playing before I got here, because I was always kind of bad at hoarding stuff needed for it. But once you do, and save up for sometimes weeks or a month even, you can do better. But if you are going into it without the materials needed to clear at least a couple of the events, it will be very difficult to do.

There are many who are not prepared for ace or choose to put it off for 2 weeks who still wanna grow. Break loose occurs at the same time. As the main events are posted, is it possible to post break loose as well, seeing as it happens at the same time?

The phases of break loose are random, so not much you can do to plan. The event runs Thursday-Saturday and consists of 9 phases lasting 8 hours each. Sometimes it is 9 different phases, sometimes the phases repeat 3 times. Some phases show up most weeks, some show up only every several weeks.

the only thing that would count as "planning" or better being strategic is to wait with the days task until the last break loose slot of the day or until a break loose appears that matches the day's task
And if it does only do as much as break loose needs sometimes a very similar one will appear in the same day

Is there a table for determining rss cost for repayment of an unauthorized hit? I have a player who owes for damages to 66k t7/t8 all troop types 8-9k each type. I found some table but it's unlabeled, and the calculation seems like a lot.

I had to go through this a couple of months ago. The returnable rss equals approximately what it would cost for the next hq upgrade for the person hit.
In 187 they repay double the rss taken and double healing rss cost.
At that time we were unable to get a figure to cover alliance infirmary costs, (50k troops is approximately 5k alliance coins, which only the person with troops in there can pay, with no help button to get help from the rest of the alliance) and deep healing costs.
I can put you in touch with the lady who figured out what we did figure out anyway if you like. One of them anyway, the other has immigrated elsewhere.
The double does seem like a lot until you consider that there is a 30% tax on any sanctuary hit, plus it should be a lot to act as a deterrent for future hits.

How can it be any relation to the cost for the next HQ? If I have 60k T1 in a resource spot or 250k T10 there or 1m T10 in my sanctuary those are drastically different numbers that need to be repaid. Also having no builders gear or red start builders gear makes for drastically different amounts of resources needed.

Since it depends on the boosts of the person doing the healing/training it can only be done by the person themselves. You can however calculate it with your own boosts by looking at how much a single unit of that tier needs for training and multiplying it. Same for healing.

Anything affecting your march is added to the base march, not what you see now.
Example: your march is 200,000 and you have a 20% boost. It will not give you a 200,200 march, but whatever your base march was before you started adding everything. (Yes, I know my math is bad, but you get the picture. )
As far as I know, any boosts we receive are added to base amounts, not what we currently have.

Once a governor is appointed they stay appointed for two weeks. Even when they emigrate you won‘t get to appoint a new one but have no governor until the next zenith event

I think I either got some from events or quests early on, because I did have some before I started buying them, but I couldn't give any specifics. They are very cheap and absolutely worth spending the diamonds on, especially since it is Diamond Expert time right now. My casualties/zombie casualties is quite large using my general lineup in the ruins hero challenge. The only reason I can think of for why is somewhere along the way I changed my lineup, got higher floors, then ignorantly reverted back to a lesser lineup. Problem is I don’t remember doing it and now I can’t find a combo that gets anywhere close.

Is there a way to see the hero lineup you used to get to the floor you’re on? Or maybe there is a trick to finding the best lineup for that particular challenge?

It doesn't guarantee better than rare, it's just an possibility

I imagine it would affect your results % because the reward you get from Ace are contingent on the age of your state. My guess, you’d likely lose your ranking after migration and have to start from scratch.

I guess it might be when you have full stamina (120) and then start a 1h lair lvl45 - with 1 troop - that way in the hour waiting time until the lair starts you regenerate stamina. Then the lair fails (or you cancel it) you'll have more than 120 stamina and can join more rallies when the alliance does them all at once

it works because you always get your stamina back for rallies that don't win

Exactly that. Repeat until you have 120 or more stamina even after starting the rally. Can be useful for preparation of third ace day (today) to have more stamina to spend.

The reason I ask about Rally Size increase is because my Rally size seems to have gone down ever since I upgraded to 29HQ.

I swear it used to be 1.2M but now it's only 1.01M. When I look at my Hall of War, the base is 870K and it says I get 140K boost (from Agent X and Dr. J).

I asked a 27 in my Alliance and they also have a 870K Base and 140K Boost but when they rally, their Rally Size is 1209900, which is where my Rally Size used to be around before I upgraded my HQ.

You need to use full troop.

Try and check. You will see. You can dismiss. The rallysize is included your troop size. So when you only use 1 unit it goes down.

Alliance showdown is hard at the start, but i think a lot of people get too gung ho to prove themselves as starters and take on ones that are hard for them to do. The one thing about showdown is all you need to do is finish 1 quest and you get the rewards.

but for max points, pick ones you know you can do. I get the newer people to take on simple things, like there are ones like do 5 quizzes, or join a couple rallies

Yep, at that level it is really more important how high you have your heroes up. 230 - 250 is more about having them as maxed out as possible.

2 people in my state have beaten 250, and both have their heroes pretty high.

I just got to 230 and I am getting beaten, I only have 2 red stars currently, one is +6. I have managed to take out the front row, but as soon as Ephraim goes off it is game over.

Fenrec’s right. Also, not all your losses during WK count towards calculating overall lost might you can retrain. If I’m not mistaken, troops lost from turret fire do not count, nor do troops lost in tile or sanctuary hits. Only troops lost fighting for the hub/turrets.

I don't know about a recommended sequence, but those are good ideas. I do advise upgrading all the important buildings before trying to go HQ30. I didn't, and it's hard work bringing everything up to 30, so if you do it now and enjoy the benefits of 29, it will pay off. I know the lure of those sweet t10s is hard to resist though, especially when you've been 29 for a while 😉
