Looks like quite the chonker.

Isn't this just the Acer Nitro Blaze
Blaze didn’t have trackpads. I think this is the tencent handheld
They said in their discord they have reveals tomorrow so I guess this just got out a bit ahead of then.
A few peeps saw it at CES but were told they couldn’t release any footage of it iirc.
At the time they were told it might not come to the west
You could eat dinner off that thing
This has an interesting: when does it stop becoming a handheld and start becoming a tablet with controller attachments?
if that is a 10 or 11 inch screen, i'm listening. I love how big and dumb this is. I could start lifting weights now in anticipation for the release
Yup, 11”
Also launching a 15.6" standalone glasses-less 3D display...
I have some doubts... remember the 3d PS TV?
No. because no one bought it.
Targeted end of September, early October release. (Though their track record for being on time is poor)
Rough price estimate, less than $1699 (ouch) for 3D handheld. less than $599 for the 3D monitor/display. Early bird price to be less than these estimates.
Yea, I'm not surprised at that price
I mean it's MSI CLAW 8 tier internals ($1000) plus a yuuge 3d display, so yeah. I don't see this moving many units.
vids from when it was known as "Sunday Dragon"

You can translate the subtitles into English~

hmm 😄 i dont seen the refinements , but i am still on mobile so cant compare next to each other
Yeah looks pretty identical
I just cant get over this. Looks like one inflatable xbox controllers 🤣
This is something I want to try but not own.
I want to own one eventually so I can show my grandkids the lengths companies went to just to be different
The shadow is the delivery man with the box 😅
Every time I see a company try to do dual trackpads in a vertical layout like this...like, do you guys not do prototype mockups and try holding them? Come on... how are you supposed to get your thumbs down there and still reach the shoulder and trigger buttons?
@errant wagon the more of this you show, the more I love it. I'm absolutely the idiot to market this to. I wanted an x1 so much, but the controllers looked dumb. this looks at least...cohesive design? Also add a 3d gimmick straight out of sharper image catalog...I can do some multi installment CC payments on this bad boy
still holding out for the legion go 2 but uh, I'd shoot my shot on this instead...maybe
As a man getting older in age it looks glorious tho 😆
They'll just be like, damn dad, your eyes must be bad
Ok but
Get a ROG Zephyrus G14 and a Controller at this point?
Same price and more powerful
plus oled
Slightly less comfy on couch I guess
This is a personal problem, but if I have to carry more than one thing it usually means I carry nothing 😆
I mean I'm intrigued, would love to play with it. Doubt I'd buy one though.
Also possibly only a 50Wh battery - rough for something this size, and 3d prob takes more battery
Yeah. Don't get em wrong. Id need like strong emotional support and praise to pull out my wallet for this
But it is kinda cool
these are good points, and what i struggle with. I have one of those uh, glorified TV tray style side tables next to my couch and i find myself just playing on my 16 inch 4070 Asus zenbook that I draw on for work as well more than any PC handheld. I tend to use my android EVO i grabbed from BassDerek for most everything else.
when i leave the house, no bag it's my 405m, with bag it's my flip 2, as a case on the evo is too bulky, but no case scares me too much
The EVO is like.. practical size limit for handheld, really. It's light and comfy, can do extended session. While I really like bigger screens it's always a tradeoff and at a certain point you just have to set the device down on something and use a controller.
The 3D one is absolutely a tabletop device
agree, but legion go is the limit i am willing to push for my dumb old eyes
Have you tried the Go s
nope, I saw in your flip handheld new video you had one proudly displayed though
Still like the go 2 as far as the next wave looks. Maybe the Ayaneo next depending on what it comes out like
It'll probably be as expensive as this tho 😆
thinking about testing out the pocket ds as an evo replacement, but...I dunno, that evo is just so damn special, I have pretty much zero complaints on it, that and the pocket S did sell me on Aya just making superior products and making you pay dearly for it.
I always wanted to try one. Just never one on wts when I'm looking. Heh
It does look comfy. And I liked that konkr kinda had the same body shape
can't wait for @errant wagon to cave and get this abxylute for review, then put it up for sale and take all my willlpower to not buy it from him
Makes the me think the konkr x86 might make a good mini deck
Do you think I have $1600 just laying around?
I make like $200 a month from YT lol
That's some champagne taste on beer budget
you could stretch 8 months of content out of it...
Lol
To be fair. I'm sure any one of us could unload our collections of stuff and buy a car so...
Yes I can see it now, "Here's a demo of the 3D functionality that you can't see at all over a youtube video"
I sell 95% of what I review, I don't actually have a large collection.
It's the only way I can afford to keep buying things to review
Honestly. That'd be some fun content tho. You just have to "describe" the 3d so I can feel it
That $200 a month essentially covers the devaluation I get between buying and selling.
Fair
I mean. Not the worst scenario. Tho I know it's work
(Doing youtube is kind of insanity, tbh, piss poor wage when you consider the hours put in unless you get really big)
so is your lineup currently go S and what is your android of choice?
Yeah. It's a crazy amount of work. Always respect those who put in the time solo
Go S for pc, but I have an F1 pro coming (again) that will replace it. Redmagic Astra for streaming. 477m for occasional retro.
Nice
Feel free to join me in https://discord.com/channels/741895796315914271/1303442492871409705 if we get too off topic here.
yeah man, really appreciate your work, but i would totally get it if you just stopped one day out of burnout.
oh interesting, yeah i am liking my 477m overall, but may sell that and flip 2 to fund one of these upcoming clamshells
I have a switch 2 I'll probably get rid of, onexplayer G1, and Ayaneo 1s for my android rotation right now. I want a miyoo flip mini or 3 that I can just leave in my jackets. But I imagine I'll be waiting a couple years
The 477 will likely get sold when the thor or pocket ds or s2 or ace arrives lol.
To be fair Thor will probably kill my desire to try new android stuff for a while
8gen2 and 2 screens basically gives me all id want until emulators actually push forward again
@errant wagon now I'm looking at go S 😆
alright so it's agreed that we will all go in on this and share it from week to week
I held the sugar prototype (no actual hardware just the device shell) and that was enough lol.
that thing looks like a transformer toy that my parents would never get me cause they knew i'd break that shit quickly
I don't know how you make $200 a month. I make $150 bi monthly.
That's some aggressive ad placement.
Man works it. Does a lot of community engagement too
Some of my older retroid videos continue to prop up other stuff. Also I had that 80k view switch 2 grip video pop off. I don't do anything other than auto ad placement though. I don't touch that stuff.
It's not $200 every month, some are lower.
Wow that's pretty cool.
Productive convo tho. Moving Evo and Go S up like list currently... Smh
Me too but this is the issue in the UK 🤦♂️ literally have money ready to go
Been like this for a few months
Guess i will wait for the Go 2 instead now 🤪
Haha. I totally support this mentality
The Go S screen is OK. Good color, VRR nice, good res. But motion clarity is so so. Contrast is so so. Size is a nice compromise. Probably not worth full price, but sale price or used is good.
Lego 2 should look better, though a bit less pixel density.
Price will be a lot more probably
😉 i get lenovo discount through my work
Which will be needed for Go 2 🥵
I just wanna see an OLED from Lenovo in the same vein as the y700 screens. And go 2 should be that
Bout to ask if you'll be my distributor 😆
Pretty sure we have Dell. Which has been such a bust in this new handheld PC world
That UFO could have been great
Such a shame
I do really like dell/alienware products
Yeah. Forreal. This honestly reminds me of that. Haha
I do too. Sometimes their discounted price is just regular price elsewhere tho
The issue in UK at least. Is we never get all the sku’s of these handhelds. Which is frustrating. I really want the Z1E Steam OS Go S! Let me give you money Lenovo 😅😅😅
Yeah. Thats definitely frustrating
Im one of the people in the minority that loves Stereo 3D. If this was the same size as a ROG Ally and priced competitively I would have been interested
ETA Prime just put up a video on this:
The AXBYLUTE 3D ONE is one of the most exciting upcoming handhelds, featuring an 11-inch display with a glasses-free 3D screen. In this video, we break down the early specs, design, and everything we know so far about this next-gen gaming device. Could this be the future of handheld gaming? Let’s find out.

Take my money
Abxylute 3D One Handheld gaming PC features an 11 inch glasses free 3D display with 2560 by 1600 resolution and 120 hertz refresh rate powered by Intel Core Ultra 258V processor with 32 gigabytes of LPDDR5X memory it uses eye tracking and image interleaving to convert two dimensional content into three dimensional content and includes a deep eff...
I dunno man. I might be on board
Maybe stupid but
...
love a 3d gimmick
It's nutty for sure
I could probably replace my keyboard and large x86 handhelds with just this one
Anyone have prior experience with abxylute support? Just non existent or average?
Generally friendly and helpful but sometimes slow to respond as an overwhelmed small company.
And of course China time difference
Yeah. That's not bad. That's doable. Heh
i haven't tried an intel integrated since the 1135somethingsomething, have they come along well with better overall support?
MSI 8 AI+ uses the same Lunar Lake 258v chip. It's a solid handheld but also still very pricey.
If stereoscopic requires extra frames to pull off then you're basically only playing AA below to get a good experience with that chip.
yeah, it'd be more of a, fun to turn on for certain games, thing
I also just appreciate having a bigger screen with dedicated controls, with touchpads, and a keyboard attachment with a more standard layout
I want to try it not buy it. But that probably won’t happen and I’m not accepting the risk of trying to resell one lol
So, dibs on the first WTS post

You get first swing 😆
Throw some wheels on the bottom and you could ride it
Forreal tho. This is the only large x86 I'm remotely interested in

Looks like full sized sticks too
What a banger
i think i'd get this over the legion go 2, do we know how these intel chips play with say, a 9070 amd EGPU?
I'm sure there's laptop reviews that may have tried it. I'll dig later
As someone who plays a lot of indies on steam the better performance at lower tdp is interesting to me tho
I don't think there should be any issues
Yeah. I'd think not. It's pretty standard now
if they can get this thing down a bit in price on preorder or something...damn, I might do it. I truly know nothing about what gaming is like on these mobile intel chips though. the last one i had was like uh...the 1135g or something?
Shouldn't be all that different honestly
The fact that Tencent actually collabed with Intel gives me hope
Might have issues ironed out from the jump
The chip is the one in the msi claw iirc. So pretty similar performance to something like z2e/hx370 depending on game.
The thing is this thing has a 4K panel? So idk how good 1080p stuff will look
True. I guess that's the challenge of also making it a workable laptop experience tho
Like I'd 100% get the keyboard attachment as well
And with that size screen it'd actuality be pretty comfortable
I also just want to play some older PC games on it so having that option is nice
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/abxylute/abxylute-3d-one-worlds-first-glass-free-3d-pc-handheld
Looks like there is a landing page for the kickstarter
Yeah. I think they're still shooting for months end or beginning of next
I've already started unloading some stuff to get funds together and make space
Of course then Thor and Odin dropped lol
I might end up cancelling Odin in the end tho anyway
If only they made this 7-8inch 1080p is would have been interested. This is a bit too large for me
I'd take 6 or 10+ lol. I really don't care about another 7-9" x86. Tons of good options already out there
Would've been nice to see a 9-10 inch variant, heh
You and Rick might make up 50% of the backers
Just buy two for 4D.

I asked about a review unit... not sure they're willing to send something that expensive out to me, but you miss 100% of the shots you don't take
Delivery guy
Can't win the lottery if you never play

Beats out z2e in recorded 3d mark. Of course who knows full settings and whatnot
Yep. Will likely be mostly even with Z2e with some games winning out on the intel.
Ofc this has a much higher res screen to run plus 3d processing if you wanna use that so actual results may vary depending on how you configure settings for games.
Yeah. I always like on device results tho. Wouldn't be the first time someone totally botched thermals
I'd assume running the benchmark using the that screen/res produced these results tho? If so that's a good sign
That’s totally valid, yeah cooling and OEM tweaks can skew results
The benchmark runs at a fixed res regardless of screen.
I just mean that lower res might look worse on this screen so then you’d need to turn up settings and lose some of that performance edge.
That’s my biggest concern
Cuz I know stuff like the 3DS did stereoscopic 3D by basically rendering the scene twice at slightly different view points
Curious on how they’ll pull that off in games that dont natively support stereoscopic 3D
I think I saw it explained once
They end up using contrast or something
NM. Looks like
I’m sorry but the size is just so comical
indeed
Video is from the official abxylute X
Spend $150 to get $200 off
Yeah. The promotion is weird as shit
Especially since there's no mention of refunding it if you back out
Yeah. So like if I joined vip and decide I'm out tomorrow I have to wait until 7 days after campaign ends
Nah. That's dumb
Gonna borrow my money for 2 months even if I decide to back out
so insane, i love it
Same. Haha
Praying that innovation never stops. Lol
Not saying I'll get one but
Unboxing the all-new Abxylute 3D One — the world’s first glasses-free 3D handheld gaming PC!
This thing packs an Intel Core Ultra 7, 32 GB LPDDR5X RAM, and an 11-inch 3D display that doesn’t need glasses. Full review coming soon!
i would love to shake the brave man's hand who buys this awesome thing. It normally would be me, but uh, i'm in entertainment, and my jobs aren't flowing like they were right now. Otherwise this is the exact type of thing 2023 me would have bought
"Give yourself a massive headache - only $1499 if you act now!"
Doesn’t this thing also only have a 50wh battery
Don’t get me wrong the 258v is great with low watt performance
But I get the feeling low watt gaming isn’t really a selling point of this device
yeah, i mean i kinda get the tradeoff, with a screen that large, putting in a 80wh battery means it's gonna be heavy as shit, like heavier than lego 2, and that felt awkwardly heavy for me
i imagine if you're gonna do any 3D stuff you'll likely have it plugged in for the performance, so maybe that was their focus? I'm kinda more OK with slamming a battery pack on the back than just having a straight up heavy device
Disclaimer: This review unit was provided by Abxylute.
#abxylute #abxylute3done #handheldgaming
This large and heavy device with 50wh doesnt make sense
They should have gone with something the size of a MSI Claw 8AI with a 8inch 3D screen and 80wh battery
At this point you are better off getting a cheaper used Ally X and a air of Xreal Glasses for portable 3D
the video is missing toddler for scale

so, am i assuming that i could fire up any retro game and it does it's own internal 3d conversion?
Yeah. Probably the best usecase. Most modern stuff will struggle
That’s a big boy
Lol
you crazy bastard you did it. I'm jealous
Pocket test?
