My device has been acting strangely. Even when I use different file managers like the default one, ZArchiver, MiXplorer, etc., it always crashes when extracting or copying files or folders that are around 5–10GB in size. These same files work fine on my computer and other Android devices. I’ve already tried a factory reset, but the issue still persists

That sounds like a firmware bug or a hardware fault with the device itself.

A factory reset probably didn't work because the problem is in the core system, not your personal data.

It might be an idea to Install an app like CPU-Z or DevCheck. Start the process and watch the RAM and temperature readings. Does free RAM plummet to near-zero right before the crash? Does the CPU temperature spike to a very high level?

@rancid grail is right, try the latest versions of the tools. If that doesn’t work, the most likely software fix is to re-flash the official stock firmware if you can.

If that still doesn’t work, it’s likely a hardware defect.

The problem is the file precache. If you go above the ram and zram limit, android closes that process. this is a basic user error, since android devs don't consider that broken. Maybe visit the XDA forums if it gets too ugly?

In linux, the pre cache for copying files was always a segment of available ram to prevent this issue. This is why when copying files to a flash drive, the process finishes a few minutes/seconds before the actual data finishes.

In my country, a used RG405M/V or RP3+ costs the same as, or even more than, a brand-new Mangmi Air X

But these devices use Unisoc chips, so they’re not well compatible with Winlator. I once used an RG405M to play PES 2013 on Winlator, and the device got very hot and the FPS was terrible

On the other hand, the Unisoc T618 is slightly more powerful than the Snapdragon 662 on paper. When using the RG405M with GammaOS installed, I found that it runs PS2 games a bit better than the Mangmi Air X

The default Turnip driver comes with Winlator 7.1. I have to use an older version of Winlator because it has the option to disable WOW64, which prevents errors when installing patches for PES 2013

To be honest, since I bought the Mangmi Air X, I haven’t played any game other than PES 2013, and I haven’t really used the D-pad for any game either

yeah 405m gets hot even with lighter stuff, unfortunately aluminium is a very efficient heat conductor, but on the other hand, probably thanks to it the heat is removed from the internals

also, it depends on which driver you're spoofing. nvidia(default is 9800gt which uses egpu code) is generally bad with any arm gpu. i swapped to Intel HD4000 and a lot of the render hangups/bugs fixed themselves

I think the device is fairly well-balanced. The buttons are decent, the screen is nice, and the performance is strong for the price. For me, the screen is the most important factor. I’ve used machines from GAMEMT before, and their screens all had a greenish tint that was very straining on the eyes
