Stand in corner, hit it when it walks away from you. Can stun lock it when it flies in a loop, hit it again, rinse repeat

And pick the right side corner, because you can also hit the amoeba arm, which stops it from lunging at you unexpectedly.

Kind of surprised no indie developer has ever taken this concept and really blown it out. It seems ripe for a hit just expanding everything

honestly i had a lot of fun with this. the bosses are bad but not terrible. it definitely felt like the game was encouraging cheese with evolution healing through the damage heavy bosses. i mean the fact that you can pause at 0 health and evolve to full health just feels like a reaction game. regardless neat litle concept and i may do a replay through with other creatures. im glad i popped in here though to see that bird was the way to go and that's how i finished it. ty guys for whoever voted for this and the experience 🙂

Finished this one up last night. It definitely gets repetitive and the controls aren't great, but it was a fun novelty that didn't overstay its welcome. Decided to stick with the dinosaur all the way through for the theme, and didn't have too much trouble with anything.

The only thing I wish they would have fixed is the SNES style stunlocks. If an enemy gets on top of you, you're as good as dead.

i spent a fair bit of time on king kong and just got mildly irritated because it was like playing a proto version of a contemporary game
