I have a second-hand flip on the way probably also going to get the flip 2 when it's available. How is the experience on the flip 1 with PSP and below. I'm going to use beacon launcher.

I hope flip 2 uses same dpad, buttons, and analogs as rp5 (looks like they do in pictures), unlike the flip 1. Just got it and dpad + buttons feel stiff. The slider sticks l3 and r3 have barely any response.

I wish I had the start/select buttons but Retroid is all out. Looks kinda weird but I like it lol

I tried it with just the snes buttons but it still looked a bit boring. I swapped the white for black dpad and sticks and thought yeah I’ll keep it like this for a while and it’s growing on me lol

Whew! It took a bit of purchasing high powered charging accessories but I got my watermelon flip up and running again

Is this a good place to ask if anyone knows of a sufficient/decent Retroid pocket flip 1 battery replacement? I don’t mind soldering on the old connection onto a new battery. If this is the wrong channel let me know.

^That's helpful! I'm tempted to try the old T618 build of GammaOS to try and breathe some life into my Flip but I'm scared I'll brick it lol.
