tarantula pro (which, although it has a worse dpad than 8bitdos, its still a great dpad), wait for gulikit elves 2 and libra max for more options, and wait for ZD O+ Excellence to start shipping globally (likely gadgethyper)

i have the ZD O+ Excellence and its really great, but its recommended to get extra modules for improved experience

by default its asymmetrical and it doesnt ship with a dock and the default sticks are... passable but not that great

they have a symmetric module, they have a TMR joystick modules, they have a dock sold separately

and a few other fun things

definitely recommend once its on gadgethyper

although its not cheap at all

and i would say both are still in the range of 8.5/10 dpads for me where 8bitdo is usually above 9

gulikit is shipping sega-style dpads with their new controllers so im personally really excited for those

got the GameSir Supernova just now, and I'm not sure it's worth the asking price
the dock is pretty mid, no magnets or anything to guide the controller or keep it in place, just drop it in and it's laying losely on top
d-pad fails the Contra test hard, otherwise it's okay
triggers... oh well, the lock is just limiting their range to 0.14 from 1 and the software only picks up on that after a few seconds
it works, but is a far cry from flipping in micro switches
otherwise it's solid, but I honestly don't see why one should pick it over the Cyclone 2
and I'm not overly harsh just because I got no free face plate (only the one I paid for) from them, it's just not in the same weight class as the KK3 Max and other premium controllers, so asking premium price seems a bit too much
tho a nice feature, if you hit mode+A it flips the ABXY layout (in software)

Cyclone 2 has clicky buttons/trigger stops while supernova only has membrane and physical trigger stops

I'd say the cyclone 2 has the more premium feature set

But I'm not a fan of the clicky buttons
