Here comes another janky possible one or maybe this will actually do something to the 40xxh. I don't believe the resolution I think it's supposed to be 800x600 but who knows. What do you guys think about this one?

BTW the item description lists the screen resolution as 800x600.

Also they have the processor as "Cortex A53" when the 3326 is A35. The GPU is correct, though

I checked and the only things listed under video/output are:
• video - gl
• threaded video - on/off
• monitor index - (0) auto
• video rotation - normal
Let me know if I’m looking in the wrong place or if there is another way to figure it out.

Could you set GBA to integer scale and see how much it fills?
If its 480, it'll be perfect 3x. If its 600 or 680 there will be vertical bars.

Or just set to a custom resolution and see which values fill the screen
I think you need to set "Video - Scaling - Aspect Ratio" to custom, that is if the RetroArch version is new enough

arkos for r36max(0823) works with edited dtb. Geniune Arkos might work if we have a proper dtb.

@toxic charmhow exactly to edit? i tried taking the dtb that was on the shipped card and just rename it to the one that is burned on the file when you do a new image of the r36max but i get a red light.

dd3L(dualchannel) is 1600mhz which maxes out the rk3326, making it a good rgb10max/ogs replacer

yeah, I wonder if @quick dagger 's lineageOS firmware works on it
with a really fast microsd card to put the firmware on, you could actually get GTA3, VC, and SA's older android ports running really well on it, as well as do a bit of vulkan-powered emulation

They (JAMES) said they have ArkOS for this, it's being sent to me probably tomorrow I'll see then. Also they're making a new model a cheaper "R36S" is what they said.

Yeah it has surprisingly nice screen. The speakers is good for me too but not as good as the 35xxh has.
