Personally I love my RGB10 Max 3 Pro and RG552.
The only problem is these aren't Consumer Grade Products.

Those companies are able to offset the development and production cost by selling games, not exactly something that these handheld companies can do
So I mean yeah they'll have thicker plastic and better screens. Better ergonomics and innovations. Has anyone even used the camera or IR sensor on the switch? Did the Vita need to have 3G?

I mean Handhelds that are more designed with the Consumer in mind. For example the Odroid Go Ultra isn't a Consumer Grade Handheld but the Trimui Smart Pro and RG-CUBE are.

What I'm saying is not everything is built with a General Consumer in mind. For example some Handhelds are made for Developers like the OGU or OGA. Some Handhelds are more for Collectors or Enthusiasts like the Ozone, Snowcake, RGB10 Max 3 Pro, RG552, or the ZPG A1 Unicorn. Some Handhelds are completely built with the General Consumer in mind like the Odin, Odin 2, Retroid Pocket 3&4, RG-CUBE, RG556, Pimax Portal and many other Handhelds as examples.
When I say Consumer Grade I mean something you can easily sell to the General Consumer in that Market. Another example would be selling a Meat Slicer or KitchenAid. Usually the General Consumer wouldn't buy these products but a Chef or Foodie would.

i'm touched by the beautiful quality. but it has lots of flaws tho
- android sleep mode won't work and blue light is still on. i've tested it overnight(5 hr) battery level drained from 75% to 28%.
- analog stick range is limited by 60%. it might be solved with calibration. but it has no calibration app. (but d-pad is very accurate in spite of its stiffness)
- screen size is 4.7" not 5"
- There are some undeletable apps. I uninstalled org.ppsspp.ppsspp with ADB but failed to install new ver(1.17.1) because of sign. (but ppsspp legacy can be installed and retroarch can be updated to latest 1.19)
- the stock android is totally terrible. if it can be armed with an improved OS, im sure it will be a gemstone.
steamlink and better xcloud working without keymapping problem but it has only wifi 802n (2.4G)

so far so good, far better than I expected. but I couldn't solve below problems yet.
- I have replaced several analog sticks but it failed. it might be ok to use some options (retroarch>Input button axis threshold...etc) before the manufacturer will provide a calibration app. (but it's not likely to...)
- I did sleep mode test again and watched 23% drained during 8 hours and Screen Timeout(@Option) doesn't work at all as well.

Mine came the same way, the battery moved enough in shipping to disconnect the battery & screen. It wouldn’t boot up at all until I plugged it back in. The ribbon is too long like they planned to run it over the battery and the crap they used to hold the battery down doesn’t work well. Also no idea why they ran it under the battery in the first place unless they knew the battery would move

I opened the unit and got touch working, theres a small ribbon attached to the top of the battery and it had come undone from a snap clip holding against the board. slipped it under and snapped back and now it works 🙂
i dont always know why but sometimes I just like something and this is one of those just like the R36S.Im having such fun using this even though of the issues

yeah and it opened even easy and elegant compared to some where as soon as I open everything falls out. metal is just so nice especially these newer lighter abs/aluminum mixes
why i like this more than anything is that it should pressure the manufactuers we do love to go downward in pricing. Like Metal Retroids might benefit if this thing sales ok at this very lower end.
