Done with the ice dungeon. Wasn't too bad.
I stopped the bus. The puzzles were good for that one! Starting to get some tough enemies now. I gave up on fighting the ||antiques dealer||. Glad that was optional.
Same on the ||antiques dealer|| for me.
Wait we didnāt have beat ||antiques dealer|| ? I beat her. Just stopped the bus. I think that is about halfway in game.
Truly an evergreen headline
You eventually need to beat her for her net address
Oh I beat her and got it. I just need to figure out a better stack.
Yeah, I gotcha. I just meant folks who skip her will eventually need to go back to the shop.
Skullman is kinda tough. Probably one of the first difficult fights
It was difficult. I think the boss fights really show off the greatest of the battle system. I just beat the shark boss. In the courtyard of the government building. That fight was difficult.
Shark Man is a real struggle ⦠I'm so bad at dodging in that fight
If you have the steal chip. It works great at isolating one of the fins for a while.
Is there a combo for the chip machines to get decent chips or is this all random?
This guy is a creep
Time limit and invisible roads. Not my favorite
The shark is down lo/
Shark is tough but also my favorite Navi
30 sharkman2 deck please
This battery dungeon is killing me.
||ProtoMan|| is really easy or it's just me? After that bloody battery dungeon (seriously, I was even more tensed than during the fight with the Malenia in Elden Ring, lol) that kind of boss looks meh
He's weak, petty and cruel, yeah
||Well, his user is anyway. Proto man seems to be an innocent tool of an ineffective system||
||Yep, never liked that kind of cocky characters||
Very strange that this game seems to be taking issue with governmental licensing bodies, wonder what's going on there
Should anyone?
Oh dang this new scenario really snuck up on me
So, the battery dungeon. Will it deplete when I take damage or simply over time? I'll be careful, but the rats.
I just played this and seeing the 20 hrs walkthru upsets my stomach
First boss ||Fireman|| is done
WWW is NWO faction in Lan's world
I think itās only over time . But the fact is ⦠the timer will actually refill lol.
If work is as slow as I think it'll be I should be able to finish this today. Might be tomorrow.
Guys I think I accidentally wound up with the British ROM
10th hour in the game
Find out that you can run with B button
FML
Oof
what is up with people walking the whole ass game lmao
padding that playtime to infinity š¶
Finally someone acknowledges all the "jacking" and "busting"
I thought I was taking crazy pilld

A quick look at the various real life Battle Network PET's from Capcom througout the years.

Music From: "Megaman Network Transmission"
I saw a video of someone doing one of the hardest boss fights using only chips scanned in with that thing.
Thinking of buying the bastard sword but before spending 20,000 I need to know : is it short sword range ? Like just hits the guy in front of you?
I'm almost sure it's regular sword range
It's also a component of a very good program advance
If I remember right, it replaces your buster for a turn and lets you use the sword multiple times
It's been a while though
DS-Specific Bonus scenario spoiler:
||SF Megaman is busted and I love it.|| Totally changes how you build folders.
Damn another thing we who are stuck with the gba version are missing .
you get 5 sword swings on that PA
two sword, two wide, and one long afaik
Geo is huge huge ||shield and lock on changes the game imensely ||
Oooh, that's right
I can't remember if the variable sword is in this game
don't think it is tho
that one is super cool
So you're telling me I can cannon someone in the row above or below me if I lock on? Or get the aqua tower to follow?
Still going with GBA
One tip from me, don't run, just FF
Will make the encounter rate lowered
no, the character jumps to the line, use the chip then goes back
so you still can get hit, it's not a homing thing
just moves your character in range of your chip
also means you can use melee chips without needing area grab
Uhh... Sounds broken lol
It's sorta like proto soul from...5, I think?
But much stronger than anything that was originally in this game
This game is so weird. It's growing on me though.
oh man... can't save between ||Magic Man|| and the ||LifeVirus||. I ended up playing on my funnyplaying GBA and my battery died while I was fighting ||LifeVirus|| lmao now it's just like old times!
It's shrinking on me. I just finished the clock part, I swear they're just padding length at this point
I hope the next one is a visual novel
well, I kind of started it and then pivoted to MGS
oh I was further along than I remembered
just saved my ||mom and a bunch of people from asphyxiating in an underwater restaurant.||
so what's the deal with JRPGs and office dads?
is it large-scale cope from Japanese guys?
Hahahaha Timmy! It's normal for your dad to be away for long periods of time and barely interact with you or your mother! Don't ask questions!
The fact that Vegeta is a better dad than Goku is wild
Piccolo best dad
Lol I can't beat numberman. Guess I don't "get" this game.
What do you mean that guy is a role model
Just beat bomberman. I think I am close to the end or hope I am
How? This is the most just stand there and shoot boss of the entire game?
I forgot my handheld at home. Again.
Me during lunch break
Work is number one
If I lived the Japanese Salaryman life, my wife would stab me
Close to the endgame now
Is bomberman close to the end?
Still havenāt used a guide and I also just beat bombman. I used the no random encounter cheat though, or else I would have given up long ago lol
The secret is to have fast forward and just walk, brother
You will feel that the encounter rate will be less and less
Yeah but when Iām trying to figure out a puzzle I donāt want any encounter whatsoever
Understandable. I can symphatize with you
what happened D:
I might have left the card in while opening the steam deck š
if you skip cutscenes you can get far pretty fast
If it's your second ride, you could speedrun it
I still remember some of the puzzles. Only few bits at ||waterworks|| that difficult. And ||battery ones||, I still have no clue
But the rest is ez
I'm really digging this game so far, been a treat playing the DS version on the Surface Duo.
Oh wait, I forgot I started on the Miyoo before switching to the OLED deck.
Well, I've got a bit of a start then. Three bosses down
I need to wait for the market to collapse on these and get one
Or wait for the RGB30 MAX PRO 5 ššš
Idk if Anbernic or PK will make a DS ergo console first
Even if it's like a 2DS to avoid hinge issues
4" on top, 3.5" touch on the bottom? We've got a stew goin
Youāre lucky : I had to grind for levels.
Dang. I'm probably going to have to grind a bunch once I get there since I'm just blasting through now
isnt this literally the plot of megaman zero?
Is that the ||dark web||?
On to the final dungeon
No more magic man
Just about past boss number four
Absolutely
Well fuck my dad just ||dropped a bunch secret bullshit to make me feel bad. ||
Wait ||Megaman name is HUB|| stupid.
I always liked finding the hidden themes that we didn't know about when choosing GotM games. This months is ||brothers||
Done. Finally played a MMBN all the to the end. Should of listen and played the DS version. I was too far by that time. Over all rating 3/5
The power plant does not spark joy
Haha, I like that one for some reason
The water works is probably the least fun to me personally
Though I am absolutely blasting through it on the second run. It's just not laid out very intuitively, especially because you have to tackle it in two parts
yeah, I wasn't a fan of water works.
the first game really is just a stepping stone
all of the others improve drastically on the game
besides 4
Yeah, if you enjoy this one at all you'll love the later ones
The number of improvements layered on in such a short amount of time is really impressive
Haha yes, except for 4
Worst than 1?
I enjoy it. 3/5 is a would recommend to people who like card games, RPGs or megaman. Wouldnāt say itās something everyone needs to play
lmao letās go ||buck wild||
Imo
It does innovate but the story is ass in a unbelievable way
Is 4 the intro of souls?
think so
Just started the game and it already feels like a fever dream.
Why is Megaman in some kid's head?
If you play until the end you will find out
Clockman⦠time wasnāt on your side š
(I used a shitload of save states to beat him tho)
@crystal oxide here is the code : 320003F4 0000 . Do NOT add the master code or else it might freeze your game .
Beat the Battery Dungeon.
What code is this?
I plan to finish this weekend. The last week was so full of RL stuff, barely time to play. Or breathe.
No random encounter
Reached EndGame. There's so much running around, talking to people, running back.
I have a question ||does megaman and Lan being twins carry on into the later games?||
Good question .
I had to do some of that with ||Clockman||. More of the same?
That's not part of the GBA game, which I'm playing.
Ohhhh weird I didnāt realize there were any story differences
There seem to be some additions. I looked it up because people mentioned things that didn't happen in my game
Yeah, the Clockman scenario is unique to the DS version
It does, yes
It even factors into the story flavor behind certain battle mechanics
Noice. I am glad I beat the first one first then.
God, I swear my skill takes a nose dive the second I || play as geo||, my muscle memory for the buster ruins no damage fights
It was tough for me to get the hang of too. I really like some of the folder options it opens up though
Same. The inverse charging shouldnāt be so jarring
I havenāt found a time to use the shield
Yeah I figured that out quickly . I stopped using any dĆ©fense cards even though i tend to be a dĆ©fensive player (Thatās what gives me a 85-5 record in real life tennis lol. )
Wood Aura is OP if you can get it from the Super Chip Machine. Guard is actual garbage, it's much better in later games
Damn, get that century baybee
I found that I only use it from sloppy play and when I've trapped myself with cracked tiles
I guess my saves weren't stored on the SD card I busted because I loaded up MMBN after getting a new card set up and I'm back where I was š®
This game is basically one of my nightmares. I donāt want everything in my house to be smart. I donāt want my dishwasher to become part of a bot army.
And itās rude to open someoneās fridge, but jacking into all the electronics is totally cool. š
Yeah, this. There's no need for my oven and the fridge to be connected to the web.
Finished. This is a great series. Should I jump right into the second game or wait a bit?
Jack into it.
Yeah, I really want more of the same š
I don't think it actually is cool, in the first gameplay segment your girlfriend tells you not to go jacking into her electronics and you, the player, say fuck it, I'm jacking in anyway
Yeah, it was sarcasm.
Haha fair enough, just pointing out the canonicity of the invasiveness
Damn, no auto heal in the second game. Bummer.
I kinda like that change. Makes healing chips more relevant
Yeah, I need to remove all of mine right now. Mostly useless.
Yeah, in this one barriers are always a better option
||what kind of villain gives an oven a virus?||
Government?
Iām already stuck in this game. My snack is burnt and Iām supposed to play outside, but nothing is moving things along.
Am I supposed to be trying to || convince dex to give me his links to get further in the net? ||
I'm pretty sure hitting L will give you hints from megaman
Did you figure it out?
Oh⦠sleeping is a thing. That seems to have moved things along.
I wasn't super into this one at first but now I'm kinda digging it
MMBN - teaching children binary search algorithms in disguise. š
And on the other hand, you the player refuse to open doors that could help you save the town because itās for employees only .
I was stuck here as well, and also stuck nearly immediately after that section too.
I mean, it would be rude to do so. Kind of like opening someone elses fridge, man.
well, I'm now aimlessly perusing the metro network maze from hell. So at least there is that.
That's literally where I'm at now as well
I finally found StoneMan, that area was not fun.
Yeah, I just beat him. I feel cheated a lot by this game for retroachievements. I get every boss down to almost dead without getting hit, and then they use some new attack I've never seen that confuses me just enough that I take damage right before I finish it. š”
I like the idea of this deck building combat. It's quite fun. I wish it was a little more streamlined in some ways, but it's a refreshing system.
next games are huge upgrades in combat
it's the same but just wall done and more options
Yeah, I'm sure it improves. I like the idea enough. I feel like I'm burning through this one pretty good, if I can figure out how to advance the story after finishing a section. How was I supposed to know I was supposed to || go to sleep?! || I feel like that should have been something my mom could have told me instead of || go play outside with your friends, waste a bunch of time! ||
Yeah, the arbitary triggers to move the story forward are the only real hindrance right now. Otherwise I'm enjoying it.
I just listen to Megaman
When I got to that section, I pressed L and he told me to end the day
yeah megaman tells you to end the day if it is what you gotta do
I thought I talked to him once and never got that answer, but I must be mistaken. Still... MOM LIED TO ME!
Alright I took a break for like a week and played some fire emblem but I'm back on my grind. Pared down my deck to S, H, and L. Stoneman has good synergy with area grab. Ready to show that loser Choad how worthless his government license really is
Yeah, all the sword chips in S, area grab, and stoneman are a great combo
But yeah, when in doubt, ask megaman/lan. There are still a few confusing logic jumps to progress but they'll usually drop a decent clue to progress
Yep that's pretty much what I'm running. I can't believe I haven't found another area grab though, still just have the first one
I have one in A
I want to say there's a vendor that sells one but I can't recall where
the swords all seem great, but I have the same problem. So I'm mostly building around cannons and wildcard shotguns and the upgraded shockwave thing. Seems to be pretty solid.
Oh I'm sure it's out there. Tbh I feel a bit ripped off that the malfunctioning programs use it against you but don't drop them
That said obviously their card would also sync up great with area grab, and I have quite a few of those (and I think they're S š)
||holy moly Iceman doesn't mess around.||
You can get a 3 in * which is nice
Also been building around the SonicWave chips, they're so good!
I think most of my chips are in C and D right now, with some smattering of others
Problem is I found like two in the whole game lol
Are you playing GBA or DS? I've found like six+ in the first three hours.
GBA itās difficult to find a lot of chips that match. Not like its needed that much
Gba you?
DS, which is why I wondered. I think it's been mentioned that DS has more frequent/better drops so was curious if you were on GBA.
I knew of other flaws of the gba one but didnāt know about the drops . Must be fun to be able to have more chips .
The map on the bottom screen alone is worth playing the DS version
You guys have a map?!
The Internet area leading up to the StoneMan fight almost broke me.
And the constant fights didn't help.
Yeah, I just got to that area and I'm very glad to have a map in here.
Yeah, that's the first area where it really feels like a necessity
For sure. I had trouble navigating it with a map. Without one would just be dreadful.
It has been.
How much left to go?
||I just beat ColorMan||
Gonna go ahead and just save this little gem for later...
Actually it's annoying when you're trying to get money. But yeah... I see where you're coming from too
I think you're halfway? I hope?
As soon as you can, battle NumberMan in the shop. Easy money.
There was definitely a pulp fiction reference in there.
You're right, found it. Guess I'm running SAL
Until you do too well and it only drops more NumberMen š
||SharkMan|| was a biiiiiitch
||is that the guy selling food outside the government building?||
Yup
Ohhh yeah. Huge bitch.
I'm about to hit the EndGame, I bet the map alone would have made it worthwhile lol.
I played it almost entirely back through when I thought I lost my save file
So you won't be the only person to play it twice this month if you start up the DS version is what I'm saying
Lol. I honestly would give it a go but I'm running behind on MGS since I had to order a new Vita charger and I refuse not to finish it in time after you nominated it for me!
And If I have time I'm gonna try to burn through Snatcher too
But I may come back and play the DS version in the future
Fair, fair. I'm considering whether or not I'll tackle Snatcher still
I'll at least try out MGS, for sure
Whelp I finished it. I actually liked it a lot more than I thought I would.
||Story was actually kinda dark. Those car accidents destroyed everyone inside of them, not to mention the water poisonings and dead twin.||
There were only a couple enemies that seemed cheap, and they had counters.
So what do the different stats for mega man do? Like attack is obvious. But what do speed and charge do?
Speed is how quickly you shoot. You can hold down the shoot button for more powerful blasts once you have charge to at least level 2.
I ignored charge completely though.
Ah, okay. I thought one might decrease time the bar at the top charged to get more chips. Makes sense though.
There's a card for that.
Charge is very good for ||Geo|| in the DS version
I just finished the || school jacking || day, so I think Iām maybe like 1/3 of the way through is all or so.
I'm in the middle of the ||Power Plant with ElectroMan||. This stage is SO LONG.
Worse than finding || stone man to open the subway?||
||StoneMan was a confusing level, but super simple with a map. This one has invisible walkways
||
Thatās what I thought for a long time . But it says blaster stats so itās only for the gun .
I boosted attack to the max by then speed to the max then started wasting my money on something else .
Yeah I went all attack first as well, being able to chip away 5 at a time quickly is very handy.
For me, nothing was as confusing as the water works
Power Plant has been way worse than Water Works for me.
I think level design is the only thing I dislike.
The combat is fine. I never did any combos or whatever the emails were going on about.
Lil slashy here, little anvil drop there.
Good luck! You're getting close to the end
I'm pacing well ahead of the 14 hour TTB, the map helps bunches.
14:41 for me. level 42 at the end.
I'm only at like 5 hours at the Power Plant.
With like 90k unused monies
(I don't remember what the currency is called)
Zennies?
Yup, Capcom for gil
The music for this ||extra scenario level in the DS version|| kicks ass!
Good enough I paused the game to put it in my BGM folder on my RGB30
Yeah, I love that one
Some of the levels feel like they would've been better with about 30% less content, but otherwise enjoying the game quite a bit.
Especially with how short the oven level is lol
mega man starforce is chokefull of bangers
And done!
In-game time says 8:14, so well below the HLTB
If this is the "worst" the series has to offer, I'm stoked to play the others!
I think i'm 3 hours in.
Didn't really get the chance to play last night. I got punched in the eye at BJJ, so I let my eye rest and just went to sleep.
Itās fun, but Iām ready to be done. I have all of the pieces to access the ||undernet||, I guess?
How I felt towards the end.
I'm not sure grinding to get a better deck is really necessary. With upgraded attack, I can chip away at people fast enough. I think I'll come in around kalkeg's time.
I never grinded for a better deck. I played GBA version where the drops weren't great.
yeah, I'm playing DS. I did run around in Dex's computer for a bit to get five sonic waves instead of shockwaves. They were super easy to snag though.
Yeah, you never really need to do much deck modification. I just like filtering down to a few codes because it makes things more consistent
Sort of like playing a single color in magic or type in Pokemon TCG
You can also just drop your strongest chips into a folder and that works just fine
Post game is where you really need to start min maxing
I've got a bunch of cannons, swords (but only one area grab) lil bombs, * shotguns, and sonicwaves. other than that, I have a couple more powerful chips I just throw in because. Roll for heals and an easy 60 damage, Gaia3 I got off the chip trader, and hi-cannon that is about to get replaced with like a wood tower or something.
Thatās all Iāve done so far. I donāt think I need to grind for anything. In internet world game grinds you.
The slog of getting from place to place is my only complaint. Good game.
yeah, traversing the net is harder than traversing the natural world. lol.
gaia3 so far, but I'm not very far.
ā¤ļø Roll (2)
I had 4 of these when I was done.
I also really enjoy when it lines up well for a Clockman obliteration.
Did you have higher than lvl 2 Roll?
nope all 2
Sharkman V3 did a lot of work for me
I love learning all the real world access points to zip as close to my net destination as possible
This is a good tip. I guess I should go battle Sharkman some more too.
I also got a Sharkman through the chip trader before I ever beat him but YMMV there
Yeah, it just seems backwards. feels like it should be the other way around.
Oh yeah, for sure
I got roll 3 near the end
Oh cool! Good to know it's out there.
Are all the bosses in the game from other megaman games? Does this game tie in to other (none sequel) games?
No, and not really. Itās a spinoff series using familiar characters, but in a completely different way. There some characters that appear like other robot masters sometimes though. Like woodman is similar to wood man, and there are a couple different fire guys that could be similar. But thereās nothing you need to know from mega man games.
water works was bit of a pain. Glad that's over.
The battery level made me want to quit.
Any fast forwarding or is that straight playtime? Seems shorter than I remember, especially if that was your first playthrough
Having a bit of a love-hate relationship with this game so far. Just finished the Waterworks. Combat is mostly fun, but figuring out where to go and who to talk to to trigger the next thing seems really obtuse or I'm just stupid. The multiple backtracking through waterworks really sucked too.
It's not just you
That's the weak part of this first one I think. The combat and story are there but the gameplay/backtracking/directions are poor. IIRC they get better in sequels
L1 you can talk to Megaman or Lan and get hits
I'm aware. They're rarely useful.
I just go into classical rpg mode and talk to everyone constantly. Lol
There was one point I got totally stuck and had to look things up but I think I either lucked into everything else or followed latent memories
I do like the combat and deck building. That part is quite fun.
Don't let Zu know we are talking about decks.
I know he likes comparing decks.
I can also see why some people said play the later games as they are better. Overall I enjoyed the game.
Oops got merked by a random encounter and lost a ton of progress because I haven't saved in a while... RIP.
That happens to me a good amount too. Most of the encounters are cake, then there will be a killer crew.
i'm hungry
My arch nemesis.
Right?! I hate those things.
getting merked by some v3's is rough on morale lol
Finished the Dentown situation. I actually liked the beat part Iād that one. The real work part sucked though.
Fuuuuck. RA token expired, 3 V3 down with no proof
Playing MMBN again REALLY makes me appreciate how good everything from 2-6 is
RA went down for most of the day it seems⦠Iām still early in but missed the achievement for finishing the oven part
And sometimes you stop paying attention to those repetitive battles and suddenly youāre dead lll
I love this card ! Wished I had more level 3 cards though
Level 1 is not very powerful
don't think you should stop paying attention to them just because you're stronger
Just because I should not doesnāt mean I wonāt .
I told myself I will try to do this if the legacy collection got discount on this year steam sale
it really did XD
Man, the power plant sucks.
The gimmicks were kind of neat for the first few minutes, but more I really just want it over.
TIL thereās a steam version
It's also on Switch.
Amen.
What even is the camping trip in MMBN2? You're picking up invisible items with no pointer all the time. And the boss sucks.
it's garbo
Holy shit, this Undernet section is woefully unfun.
I worths it with the cards youāll get though
I'm really just kind of hoping it's over soon. Each section has been worse than the last.
Soon.
I enjoyed the first half of the game, but yeah, itās dragging. Level design goes down hill continuously.
Heads up that it's easy to get into the section of the undernet that's reserved for end game
Lan will tell you you shouldn't be there if you hit l while there
Thatās what made me want to stay there lol. Nobody aināt telling me what to do.
Is it the only postgame content ? Or the houses that are inhabited or under renovation open up?
Yeah, I figured out I was in the wrong area after fucking about for like an hour and half lol
You've got a head start on the post game now
I think it made sense to do it ahead of endgame though . Thatās where I got my best cards .
I saved scum the exchanger thing. Got 3 gaia3 R and a set of Roll 1-3 also R. Itās pretty great right now.
Yeah, you can get some really strong stuff down there
Oh I never even thought of that. Good call
Can I knock out Battle Network before EOM, do you all think?
If you play the ds version possibly .
Why is the DS version speedier than the GBA one?
I'd rather play GBA so I don't have to wrestle with DS emulation
The encounter rate is lower and you get better drops
Oh, interesting! Is it a game that I can pretty comfortably just hide the second screen for, competely?
Oh and you get a map in the DS game
Yeah second screen is just the map from what I seen
It is also the title screen menu, so, starting the game needs it.
Ok cool - I don't mind switchig between the screens but am not a huge fan of games where I need to keep both in view
you can play without the map just fine
it's just more annoying
but the ancient ones did š
We jacked in uphill both ways and we liked it
There was no āsequelsā or āsave scummingā or ābacklightingā in our day
and it was awesome š
Oh, I'm sure there was still save scumming.
Pro tip, not sure if itās been mentioned already (or if they explain it in game) but the closer you are to enemies the faster your buster fire rate is.
turbo helps with this a lot lol
Disgusting tactics
Disgusting tactics

I didnāt know after the oven that I just needed to go to sleep and I wandered around jacking all over everything in town.
The game is pretty vague about how to proceed sometimes. You arenāt the only one who got stuck there. I did too, and others.
One case where talking to Megaman will give you the answer
Everytime you have to sleep he will tell you
I'm not sure if I like the second game. There's even more running around. The net world is cool with the squares and all, but it doesn't click in the same way that makes me endure the tedious stuff.
Awww but styles are so coooool
I never thought this would be the game with atrocious ice puzzles
It's not a real game without ice puzzles
Not a real mega man without shitty ice mechanics
Can you even call it a jrpg if there's no sewer section?
Finished Metroline. Prolly not gonna make it through this and MGS before NYE. Still gotta wrap up Minish too.
Just finished it up. There's a really amazing core game here, and most of the Internet levels are awful
I still enjoyed it, though I resorted to a guide for mazes and battery puzzles
Same. I loved the ice dungeon and the traffic lights, but the later dungeons weren't too great.
Very diffƩrence experience here . For me the ice dungeon was the weakest. The other ones were better. I really liked the battery level
I didn't particularly like either, though the ice was a lot better
I'm excited to play MMBN 2, either here or on my own time
MMBN2 didn't grab me at all. I'm at the start of chapter 4 now and can't stand it more than half an hour at a time.
I'm not a big fan of the 2nd game myself. 3, 5, and 6 for me.
Those are the jewels of the franchise
Battery one was the best imo but it went on a little too long
Yeah, I kinda like the stoplight and battery one. The map plays a big part in making them enjoyable though
I really liked going around to the different lights, with a feeling of impending doom and panic
The Internet levels themselves weren't very good imo
Yeah, the broader Internet is particularly bad in this one with no real way of visually distinguishing one section from another
Finished waterworks. These games are great but Iām realizing Iāve played too damn many of them, the novelty is a bit scuffed sadly.
Still gonna play through it. Iām a fiend for those chips.
I never did it in the first game, but in the second I got the a, b and c cannon combination. It's awesome.
I only did it with cannon. Does it work with other chips too though?
I looked them up. There's quite a few.
Too much of a pain to get enough to reliable pull it off though.
on the later games it gets easier and more usefull
in this one is actually realiable with good deckbuilding
but it feels way less game changer than it should
I like exclusively used the guy shoot combo in the late game and it was awesome and worked really well
I had 10 guard Gs, 10 Dash Gs, 5 Gutsman 3s and then 5 Heater Gs just for utility
Had to do a lot of dodging and waiting when luck was bad but man when you do 500 damage with one attack it doesn't take long to kill everything
I farmed 3 Gaia Rs and a set of Roll Rs. Then just threw in whatever else was strongest. Worked pretty well.
The single code combos end up being the easiest to build around and use
Harder to fill out a folder though
The combos are super fun even when theyāre not the most useful
Made it to the WWW compound, an extremely cool looking place
I made it through the whole game and never did a single combo.
Iām not surprised. I only did one, and by the time I had the chips to make it happen consistently enough, I had way better chips and having all those cannons seemed more like a liability.
I just finished and also never did a combo
