As a mass produced/budget alternative to the LG wing handheld

So android + touch + 720x720 4” square sounds pretty NDS capable to me

Anbernic I’m sure at some point will make a portrait screen device too

Yeah for non-touch games I’d just use anything 4:3 if it were an ‘only need to look at one screen at a time’ situation or anything widescreen if I needed to see both

RGB30 for anything non-touch that needs the screens stacked vertically

But yeah for touch I got nothing

My only touchscreen handheld is a steam deck and that shit is not comfortable to be randomly letting go of one handle for touchscreen use

I guess I could maybe get used to moving a cursor with the trackpad

Is your unit better in terms of build quality than the one taki has? On his video you could see the shell halves are not aligned well (the seam between top and bottom was misallignes on places), and I think I have seen that one of the shoulder buttons looked a bit rough around the edges

it wont do perfectly what miyoo mini plus couldn't do at all but you can dip your toes into N64/DC/PSP

apparently miyoo mini plus can now do DS emulation pretty well but it's definitely going to be a more compromised experience compared to the smart pro

I hate the just get a steam deck comments at times. To me it is to big and at that size I rather just just my laptop what will work the same. That is me. Everone has a different use case. I watched the odin2 videos from the reviewers and that 90 degree angle they all use to avoid the right stick isn't the way I want to play games. Some people it doesn't brother.

Okay, I get a lot of weird comments in my DMs about this kind of thing. Yes PSP works fine yes N64 works fine most of the time, yes Dreamcast is just fine, yes this might be able to play Saturn but no I can't manage to compile the core and have it boot, virtual Boy same story. $60 ish. Absolutely great for GBA. New firmware in testing today, no I can't give it out. And no l3 and r3 don't click. Takis video is accurate. L2 and r2 are absolute trash, but there's not much l2 and r2 you're going to need. PlayStation is butter smooth, same with everything below it. The Pico drive 32x core gave me some trouble but we have a new one from somebody else that works just fine. I don't know what other questions you need answered but this device isn't out yet, and any device that any reviewer has is not a finalized device. The firmware is still in testing. The hardware has a lot of recommendations for improvement. Any other questions?

It's so close to the odroid go super in performance. It also hit that 20-25fps god of war and wipeout pulse performance level. That was due to the 768mhz ram though.

Technically If you have the source, you can recompile the dmc kernel drivers for these units and try to reach 30fps with brute force timings

I think you should, it has a few issues like the clicky menu buttons. But after a while you don’t even notice anymore. It’s durable as hell not delicate like the miyoo’s.
