I just beat the main story last night and wanted to break down some suggestions that would help a lot of players in my opinion. The top two being the biggest and loudest I'd like to suggest
Items having their typing as a logo in their icon image, or in the name or something to help players find/remember what each item is.
• Amber Isle has a large chunk of items to make, and remembering what item fits what category (artisan, stylist, etc) is a chore. Aside from the SUPER obvious ones, a lot tend to go over the head when handing these items. This would also help, a LOT, when it comes to folks wanting an item that players may not have unlocked yet. Having to hover over every single item and hoping our eyes don't glaze over it is not fun, especially those who may have a reading disability, or people like me with visionary problems.
Search Feature
• To kind of tie off above, a search feature in our crafting table would be a huge win. I know I, for one, have tabbed over items I needed to craft for folks. Having a search option would greatly eliminate that problem
Decorating the house and walls
• I'm sad that we have access to decorations that are clearly made for the wall, but we cannot place it on the wall. I hope this will become a feature in the future. On top of that, moving our windows would be amazing and an option to change the outside of our house would also be great. I noticed the windows and door that we choose - when not default - appear outside, but no way to change how the outside looks. So my windows and doors look reaaaaaally stupid on the outside.
Fix the hats
• I love hats on creatures. I think it's cute. But much like a Coral Island, these hats are floating and not pleasant to use or look at. And it's a bummer.
Character customization - namely Makeup and Style
• While having just basic round eyes is cute, when I saw the look npcs like Gwen was sporting... I was immediately jealous. Can we please get some eye glam for ourselves? Also, style items. Can we please get color options? As cute as the butterfly wings from Opal's quest is, bright blue just doesn't match me. It'd be great to have access to a color board for items like these, or even the clothing and scarves.
I... think that's it. Aside from continuing to beg that the logo sounds when starting the game up is turned down by a lot. I keep murdering my ear drums!! 😦
But that all said, thank you for a fun game. I'm glad I didn't have as many issues as I see happening and I'll take what I can get for now.
Cheers!
Edit:// Adding another suggestion
Create a schedule for the folks
• As far as I have seen, there is no actual set schedule for the npcs, namely those with shops. I've checked every day with npcs - like Donnie for example - and they are just glued to that shop. Meaning any friendship progress I can get is locked to my own store and that's only IF the npc decides to interact with me.
