Just a thought for a DLC/update event. Have little dinosaurs do Menorahs/Dino dreidels, Christmas trees and decorations for those who do and for Kwanza since I know that’s a holiday too during that time. 🥰 it would be so cute to have my little Styracosaurus decorate her future store with some of these designs.
After all we do say Menorahsaurus during that time too.

I think, to solve/get around that problem, you'd really only need a little bit of surface-level worldbuilding for why they practice traditions that (to us) resemble human traditions!
A lot of other games (even ones with only one or no humans) include obviously-Christmas-analouges, and that's not usually seen as immersion-breaking on account of Christian traditions often being treated as the 'default'! For that reason, I think it's a bit unfair to dismiss the idea completely when it's only fair to treat at least a couple of other holidays with the same willingness to include and build some lore around why these fictional practices developed without worrying about whether the in-universe history presents an exact 1:1 opportunity for the real-world tradition to arise. (It's very late right now, and I am very sleepy, so I apologize if any of this seems rambly or doesn't make sense!)

i think they actually have canonical "in universe" events/cultural festivals that fill the role based on bits of lore they've given iirc. they have similar events for birthdays (nest days and hatch days iirc).

I am for festivals, but it shouldnt be human ones. But Paleofolk Festivals with their own lore would be so cool!
