Hi all! In my last few races in iracing this week, I have experienced latency variations and packet lost. Twice I was relegated to the pits to rejoin the race in last place, down a lap. I do not understand how to fix. I have a Ryzen 9 7900x3D CPU, AMD Radeon RT 7600 XT 16GB GPU, 64 GB DDR5 Memory, iracing graphics specs set to medium, and a strong internet (2GB), with normal speedtest results in the 800 - 900 mbps. I have an ethernet connection direct to the router/modem (Xfinity) and the cable is less than 10 feet. Any clues or suggestions? This just began happening this past week. Also I have updated my BIOS (Aorus B650 Elite AX Ice).

xD whats the latency on the internet
and are you monitoring your frame latency with msi afterburner
because if your getting a random cpu latency hickup thats a diff story.
I am only monitoring the latency on the iracing overlay. I do not use msi afterburner.
ya if your getting a random stutter and its causing you to lose then its a cpu issue
if its a literal rubber band effect its internet
and depending on the time you play
comcast does network pings at like 12-1am est
which causes internet issues
latency has nothing to do with your pc, Let me guess, you are on wireless?
he says hes hardlined
could be local network could be the server he is connected to, could be with his name possible.. outside interference from underseas shenannigans a number of things
for all we know he has one of the bad intel nic's
🤷♂️
not true, your PC can in fact have a problem that causes latency issues.
are you only having issues with that one game? does it happen with other games or services?
what about other devices?
Yes, just iracing.
could just be iracing itself, and depends where the server you are in resides
have you tried to play the game with another computer?
