#4x 960gb SSD’s health seem suspicious

I bought 4 of these crucial M500 960GB 2.5” SSD’s from eBay. They all show 98%-100% health in crystaldiskinfo but don’t show the reads and write history. Also this model I believe can be as old as 2013 and most likely they were used in a server. Health seems suspicious. Testing with Victoria it says “BAD!”.

Is it possible that the previous owner did something to make the drives SMART health look new? All I see is 21k~ hours on each.

Have you tried configuring the drive & moving data in & out? That typically means the drive has fallen into READ ONLY mode.

#

Otherwise, use Crucial Storage Executive to verify the drive(s) firmware is up-to-date, use the Sanitize option, and check again.

This is what I see every other option says the drive isn’t supported

#

21450 is the hours I know maybe the other numbers is the reads and writes

Beats me
Use 'em if you want. I don't deal with used storage

HWinfo is showing reads and writes

#

Think that’s MB written?

Found it but it’s only 6234gb written. That sounds like it’s been tampered with

#

unless the drives were running doing nothing for 2 years or so power on hours

#

Maybe i'm overthinking it, I see one drive has 98% health but has 8TBW but just weird a old model ssd with 21k hours having such low TBW

I mean they all tested fine with the reads and writes
