did the listing wherever you bought it say it's compatible with whatever Windows you're running? Your PC does not make the "usb connect" sound when you plug it in? is there some power indicator (led?) on it, and it comes on when plugged in? does the seller/manufacturer not provide post-sale support?

rustic nexus

it says its compatible

#

no connect sound

#

power led is on

could just be a bad unit? you have another PC can try it on, or a friend?
I have a USB enclosure with a SATA Blu-ray burner in it and it works in both Win10/11 with no specific drivers other than whatever comes with Windows.

especially the latest AMD/Intel chipset drivers for whatever platform you're on.

i normally use avg driver updater top do all that im not that technical

#

having to uninstall all my c drive for enough space for the download lol

static laurel

understood.
I never touch 3rd party driver updater apps, so can't help there.
it's typically not at all hard to look up your specific motherboard on their web site and grab the "latest" in each category and install them.

rustic nexus
#

i get intel and asus updates through avg driver updater anyway

#

so i assume thats what it is

#

I use the nvidia app for the driver for my 4060 ti
