Deshrouding is dead now, since fans and heatsinks are very well deisgned with each other in mind. Changing one of either elements will result in worse performance
Is deshrouding an Nvidia RTX 4090 GPU still worth it in 2024? To find out, we took our Zotac RTX 4090 AMP Extreme AIRO, ripped off the fans, and replaced them with 120mm Monster Arctic P12 Max'es.
Let's see if this was worth it noise- and temperature-wise!

agreed, changing out shroud and fans on something as recent as a 6800XT is kinda throwing money down the toilet. and risking damaging the card/cooler.

If you already did it, you cannot improve it anymore without some method of fabrication, with the most common at home processes being cardboard cut to shape & taped, 3D printing, or woodworking
all I did was zip tie some case fans to the heatsink lmao
