DJNekoThink Okayyy, so the thing is, we have discontinued the #🌆｜chit-chat (Chit Chat) channel and it'll be gone from channel list after a while.

Why?
The reason for this was the this channel was heavily used by some of the members to spam and farm levels unfairly also we already have appropriate channels for discussions.

What now?
This channel going away is not the end sers, you can still continue your discussions in the #💬・general (General Chat), however keep few things in mind:

  • Remember to never spam and keep the conversation appropriate.
  • Behave respectfully and treat other participants of the chat respectfully as well.
  • No discussions on any inappropriate/illegal topics.
  • Keep the conversation on whatever topic is being discussed in chat and don't go too off-topic.

Pretty cool week we had last week with lots of cool stuff happening, also a very happy month to you all.

We had some nice new frens such as Mercuryo & Binance Pay integrating with Injective, we also saw some new RWA Perpetual market listings on Helix which are:

Okay, this is something big.

Helix 2.0 has been launched! This is a pretty major update as it brings some really nice stuff to Helix, some of which are:

  • You are now able to close your position with limit orders.
  • The TP/SL parameters have been also enhanced a bit.
  • CW20 tokens are now supported on Helix.
  • There's also a page added to manage access for your account also there's the new auto-sign feature.

Now now now, this is the real super cool update.
We now have a new referral program within the ambassador program which really offers great rewards for referrals.

Now if you're an Injective ambassador (Knight & above), you can now invite your friends and others to the ambassador program and when they become Knight, your points will increase by 10% of their total points for a three-month period, and as they refer another person, you will also be getting 5% points through that person, and not only that but if the second person refers another one then you also get 2% of their points.

Hey @everyone

I have been monitoring the chats and wanted to clarify a few things.

Over the past few days, there has been much discussion around a new mascot for Injective. This has led to a number of ideas and even one proposal that has recently passed.

Here are a few key points to note:

The Background

A governance proposal was launched to introduce a new mascot named Benny into the Injective ecosystem. The effort was spearheaded by several community members from Quants.

After the governance proposal was passed, other community members voiced concerns about our longstanding ninja theme since they had grown to love that theme for the ecosystem as well. In addition, many validators seemed to think of the proposal as a fun community post.

Injective is here today because of its community, and it strives to be fully decentralized.

The governance proposal stated that Benny will be a mascot of the Injective ecosystem. As Injective is a decentralized network, the proposition will be upheld, and Benny will be a mascot within the Injective ecosystem.

Injective and Ninjas

Ninjas are also a core part of Injective.

The initial ninja theme was conceived by community members as well, and the word "ninja" itself has the letters INJ, which encapsulates Injective and has become synonymous with Injective across socials. The word "ninja" is directly integrated with the Injective ecosystem, and several projects use versions of the name.

It is important to note that Injective is now a global community with hundreds of thousands of members, holders, and developers across the globe. As such, no one mascot can truly define each and every one of us. However, we are always united under the shared goal of creating a truly free and fair financial system for all.

So yes, you can be a ninja and be a part of Injective. You can support Benny and be a part of Injective. New mascots can also join the ecosystem via contests, proposals, and more because, after all, the way we grow is by allowing anyone and everyone to join us in our ecosystem and journey.

The core goal is unity because that is how we win. We are always stronger together.

Recently there have been a lot of changes within the server, some of you might have noticied this already but here's a break down of all the changes and updates.

- Server Store

The talk of the day, the Server Store! We have added a new channel which is #🏪・reward-store (Server Store).
Now you might ask, what is server store? The server store is a place where you can redeem various different rewards in exchange of the nINJa Credits you collect within the server.

These rewards range from passes by which you can redeem real INJ rewards without any additional requirements.
You can earn the nINJa Credits by talking with people within the server, participating in events & games, being rewarded for various activity within the server.

- New fun bot channels

These bots are here for the nINJas to play and have fun while playing together with other nINjas, the channels which have been added are:

  • #🧧・mudae: Collect & trade characters from various series, anime, games, and much more. ($help to get started.)
  • #🀄・sofi: Drop cards, collect them, decorate them, participate in raids, and much more! (Check the pinned messages to get started.)

- New Color Roles

The color roles are now available for everyone, you can now get whichever color you like from the available colors and equip them to your profile.
You can check out the #🏪・reward-store to know more about the color roles and how you can get them.

- Some minor updates & info

  • The bot has been tracking the nINJa Credits for last 2 weeks, so if you were active during that duration then you should already have some nINJa Credits to get started.
  • The regional channels now do not give nINJa Credits to avoid spam as the regional channels are not actively moderated by us.
  • The Warrior role requirements have been changed to Level 10.
  • New role for level milestones were added, for example <@&1261350021266276422> for level 10, <@&1261351553542000741> for level 20 and so on.
  • The old Developer role has been replaced with the new one ([Click here to know how to get the new Developer role](#🚀・dev-support message)).
