But when I zoom in on my drawing, it looks clumsy; only from a distance can you unsee the light from the fire. I think it could have been portrayed better

Definitely has to be your brushes too, and how you use them, I use softer brushes for my shadows and highlights, note that this also depends on the type of material I'm painting....if its metal it'll have more shiny and sharper edges, if it's skin, the shadows and highlights will be more softer

Long process though😅, lines weren't so clean, all I did was scan my sketch on paper onto my PC, use the eraser tool to clean out lines I did not want and boom the stressful coloring with the mouse began😅

I like 3D graphics, but I do this often when I have a lot of free time, I even bought a course. Animations after effects, I have a lot of tutorials open, and I sit and repeat them. I like to draw, and sometimes I can draw something that I can’t draw in a figma, I mean an illustration for a post. I like the way some knights design their work. They are unique and simply incredible. I follow some guys and their work is amazing

One thing that has really helped which I feel will help you too, is focusing more on what you're good at, and getting better, use that to pass your own message regarding Injective in a much more unique way.

Notwithstanding, it's also brave to step out of your shell and try something new once in a while.

now is all "out of focus", you should keep some parts out of focus but also make more details on parts with main light!

like you did here

plus when you do stuff with no outline, you always need a secondary light source, if the main one is hot (fire) secondary one will be cold (moonlight for example)

max light becomes your outline
