FlyByWire only supports the installer, not the 3rd party add-ons themselves.
I get the same thing. Used to be that you would click install on the A320 and it would start straight away. Now it takes about 60-90 seconds to begin. Then it goes normal speed. Same with the A380.
i also have this issue
Same here
Same here.
These boxes stay empty for a good minute and CPU goes up to 40% for FBW installer.
same here
I have this issue too
will it load eventually? \
It does - usually takes about 20 seconds for the installer to decide what versions are current
The time it takes obviously depends on the computer spec. On my gaming PC you barely notice a problem, but I've got a just good enough spec laptop to run msfs and it takes about a minute for all the versions to populate on that.
CPU usage on my PC jumps up dramatically whilst the installer checks the versions - to the point my CPU fan kicks up a notch. As soon as it's got all the version numbers, it drops back down. The headwind version of the installer does the same too
This has been happening to me since the multi-sim update
at least i know i'm not alone

After having a break for half a year in msfs, and opening the client again yes. The first 30 seconds its loading stuff and you can't click any thing.
I can't even install any aircraft via the client, download fails constantly
If it's been that long since you used, there will likely be an installer update as well.

this PR should fix it
I updated already yes
Is there a way of updating without waiting for the next official release? Presumably it requires some sort of compiling though.
https://github.com/flybywiresim/installer/actions/runs/20962130528?pr=536
You can download it here but I would suggest just waiting for the next version
this should be fixed with 3.6.0
