Beginner Guide
FlyByWire only supports the installer, not the 3rd party add-ons themselves.
try a clean install, also use the dev version as the stable version is really only for homecockpit builders ect
.clean
We suggest trying a clean install. Please see this guide for detailed instructions.
It didnt work, i didnt even get the update button on the flybywire installer
did you try all the steps listed on the clean install page?
try reinstalling the installer, ensure the community folder is completely empty, no trace of the A32NX left and see if it will install
It will install but it still says that i have to update it
even when using the dev version?
I will get someone else to help you and see if they can sort it ๐
do you have two community folders or the installer is pointed in to the wrong folder?
yea can you send me a screenshot of where they are pointed to
just try this quickly, otherwise I can ask someone to double check if that installation location is fine, but try what is written in the bot command first

To remove the marketplace version of the A32NX, please open the MSFS Content Manager from the second page on the main menu and search for 'flybywire'. Then uninstall the 0.6.1 version.
Never use the Content Manager to update A32NX, use the installer to keep it up to date.
I think the liveries in the content manager are fine, just if you had another version of the aircraft in there then it would be an issue
So what does it mean fixing wise?
now i dont even have the flybywire a32x on my msfs
a32nx`
I will see if someone else can help you, just hang tight
Okay!
.community
To find the Community folder that MSFS is using please follow these steps:
- Go to General Settings in MSFS and activate Developer Mode.
- Go to the menu and select 'Virtual File System'.
- Click on 'Packages Folders' and select 'Open Community Folder'.
This opens the Community folder in a Windows Explorer. Please ensure that your addons are installed in the folder that is opened.
and what do i do after? i feel like i have done this before. it does seem kinda familiare
just try it and see if it works
okay i have opened it
is it the correct one? Put an aircraft or scenery in the community folder and make sure when you follow these steps that it appears in the folder
yeah, i know this is the real one cause it has alot of scenery and aircrafts in it
so i think its the corect one
Can you send a screenshot of the page you opened
sure
all of the scenery was from 2024
i think i fixed it
cause i dont have the update thing popping up anymore
when i load
.efbabout I'm not exactly sure how the popup works, but you can use this page to check the aircraft versin
In order to rule out version conflicts and continue with providing support for our aircraft, we need to see a screenshot showing your flyPadOS and aircraft version. The version of the flyPadOS and aircraft can be found in the following way:
After loading the aircraft, use the flyPad (EFB) to open the Settings - About page and provide a screenshot of the flyPad. For more details on the flyPadOS, check our documentation.
Looks like the a32nx isn't even in that folder
Ah great, by the way the stable version is only really meant for people who have something like a home cockpit since it doesn't get updated very often, so in case you don't need that we recommend using the dev version since it gets updated a lot more often and therefore has more features
No problem ๐
