#[SOLVED] Can't update: MSFS running (TLDR: it's not)

I can't update the A32NX aircraft through the installer. It's constantly complaining about MSFS being running, when it's not. I've tried checking Task Manager, i've tried using "taskkill" on the CMD, I've even tried opening and closing the sim and doing "taskkill" again, but there is no luck. It's still complaining.

I'm asking this in a new post because the only existing one about this issue is long dead and the only given solution is "checking Task Manager", which, as I have already stated, I've done to no avail.

Any help on this issue will be greatly appreciated.

FlyByWire only supports the installer, not the 3rd party add-ons themselves.

BTW, I'm using version 3.3.8 of the installer. I remember that (normally) it updates automatically, so if that isn't the most recent version, just say it, and I'll redownload and report back.

can you run Get-Process -Id (Get-NetTCPConnection -LocalPort 500).OwningProces in powershell and show the results?

Sorry for the late response (my local timezone is Z+2). I'll try in a few minutes and report back.

I'll kill the VPN server (at least for now) and try updating again
