For the AP, as you can see on your PFD, you're overspeeding, which disconnects AP

#

This is because your throttle isn't in the CLB detent, which is where your plane is asking you to put it (see LVR CLB)

#

Because of this, autothrottle isn't gonna do anything

Regarding the flight plan, your screenshot is a bit poor since your ND is at enroute range setting meaning approach/arrival waypoints aren't displayed. I do see however that the first leg before the destination runway is an arrival leg, which is wrong.

You may have knocked it by accident

steady merlin
#

Awkward.

What approach did you load? Did you verify it was correctly loaded, and did you delete any parts of it (including discontinuities)?

steady merlin
#

There were no discontinuities.

#

And before departure, i was checking the route, and everything was as it should.

sharp flame
#

Usually you have an approach loaded.

#

Doesn't seem like there's any in your screenshot

steady merlin
#

That is the problem.

sharp flame
#

Yeah but then I need more info

#

What did you select? What was actually there? And I can't see what's there because the screenshot shows the ND at 160NM

I don’t know more. I just programmed my arrival in the f-plan. And then I departed with clear view on the flight route. Then, as I said went afk for like 3 mins, the incident with the Ap happened and i saw the arrival like this. (Not the fist time this happened to me, and as I saw it happened to others too)

#

This is everything that happened

It's not straightforward, sometimes it's appropriate to delete them and others not (i.e. if it would cause a course reversal without a course reversal leg)

#

And sometimes their existence indicates you have selected incompatible combinations of procedures/transitions

groundspeed of 575 knots => the turn overshoots

steady merlin
#

So it happened because of the ap failiure?

  • the innapropriate thrust putting it into high speed protection

I mean

#

My failure with the ap

elfin fern
#

The AP disconnects when high speed protection activates, that is intended

#

High speed protection was caused by manual thrust setting

Ok
