FlyByWire only supports the installer, not the 3rd party add-ons themselves.

FlyByWire Support | Identifying your Community folder

To find the Community folder that MSFS is using please follow these steps:

  1. Go to General Settings in MSFS and activate Developer Mode.
  2. Go to the menu and select 'Virtual File System'.
  3. Click on 'Packages Folders' and select 'Open Community Folder'.

This opens the Community folder in a Windows Explorer. Please ensure that your addons are installed in the folder that is opened.

follow those steps

#

But that's not the same folder as the one you showed earlier....

#

Your installer is putting it in the first one, that's an entirely different one

#

oh pfft

#

that makes sense

#

you have to change the location of your community folder in the flybywire installer settings

#

it’s installing into the default msfs community folder

#

set it to your community folder in D:

opposite

#

@spice furnace

#

you need to set it to this

#

also remove this, it causes issues

#

respectfully we have supported MSFS users for multiple years and yes it does cause incompatibilities 😄

#

especially with our aircraft because it contains a bunch of hacks around the default pushback, which often breaks stuff

#

it also is known to cause FPS drops

#

use it to your own risk

#

ok?

#

ok lol

#

cya
