Hello I am perfectly new to this server, as I have never been active here
Quite possibly
Welcome. Let us know your thoughts on the book after if you feel up to it
Sure will
YEAHHH BABY!!!
an excellent novel
but it’s lengthy so be aware
Mmmhmm
Also the official tbate server is the reason why I hopped on reading that
Big W
Have completed the volume 1 CLown of LOTM n man that was a ride
truly great
Now in volume 2....
Leonard's rage.....it spoke more about his character than all his dubious actions earlier in the volume
Zangwill now got two bloodthirsty wolfs on his tail
Leonard is such a great character, youll get to know him more in the future
Looking forward to it
the whole thing with the child was so amazing
and our favourite sleepless…
oh and how you like the world building
Even in the comments for the chapter.....people literally said Leonard gives more of the vibe of the MC than Klein n yet Klein's the MC
Very much.....I am loving it
yup.....rn at chap 244
I think its good that Klein is the way he is
hes great
mc of the second book is more with spice and character
Yeah.......Klein's also great n I like him as the MC......I think Leonard as an MC will only work for a trilogy n nothing more
Oh....i'll be looking forward to that when i get to it
Many don’t really liked the change but it was necessary
youll get to it
and youll get to know and love Klein
Yes.....even rn.....he just got the charm he named "language of foulness" n that damn idiot's risking it like he got several spare lives xD
I mean…
Talking about where I am
244 chap is just the beginning of the second part yeah?
Yeah I think it's around 10-15% mark.......?
I'll let you know when I have read it too

So.....just 2-3 weeks ago I completed vol 4 of LOTM and man that was good. The last arc with all the 'acting' and plans. Brilliant.
Currently I am in vol 5.
Remembered this thread existed so came in to check. How about others? Anyone read something worth their time recently??
Ooh ....I haven't been here for a long long time.
Well.....I did complete LOTM like by the mid of December I believe....much earlier I think. And now I am reading Shadow Slave.
What about others? Anybody?
oh wow, your thoughts on it?
Let's see. Characters are well written. Some started well and then not returned back to...
World lore is worth it's intricacies
And the events of the time in the book, they have you hooked but only one major event feels like it was a bit mishandled, but that events aftermath wasn't mishandled so I guess very good in relation to Events of the book
Those characters that were actually important in one way or another always came back for even a moment I think
That's about Lotm.
Not Shadow Slave
hmm, can you say which event exactly? I think I know which one but wanna make sure, and spoiler tag it
Yeah, but some characters are in there that even when came back to again just were there for that. Like a mirror, and not actually there. Yk which ones I am talking about || Maric, Suah, etc. ||
|| The War and Lovia's non-betrayal ||
That could have been done better
Tbh Id think you’ll mention ||The final ritual to become The Fool. Even becoming a scholar of yore is ridiculous, but the ritual for The Fool is just insane||
I read Shadow Slave up to around chapter 1300s
and I read LotM too, of course
tbh though, I've mostly forgotten lotm details that those spoiler-tagged stuff have mostly faded in my memory.
Been meaning to do a reread before I start reading Circle of Inevitability, but I kinda wanna watch the anime instead. So maybe I'll wait for LotM anime to come out and then read CoI
shadow slave was if Solo Leveling was written better, and used shadows properly
but remember that anime for now will be only about volume 1
and this shadow slave sounds nice then
oh right... so it's gonna be much longer if I wait for it all to finish
lmao
theoretically you can see end of volume 1 in the trailers. but it's 240 chapters, so either the anime is gonna be long, or it's just there to tease the novel readers lmao
I hope they don't cram so much story into so few episodes, so it's fine if they end a season on volume 1
Yeah, I agree with that, and more. It's like Shadow Slave actually goes into the territory of shadows. SL is just a mc farming for last battle, so it's understandable to be small. Shadow Slave is entirely different, it focuses on the human part too
I have just completed today the vol 3, and now in vol 4. In Shadow Slave
I do think they will end up cramming it but then again the episodes themselves could be longer than 30 minutes or so
