#Making farms on the nether roof

Hello, I run a 1.21.4 Paper server using the latest version of Amplified Nether. I’m aware of the height change, which makes the nether roof be located at y 256.

I’ve installed the datapack: https://modrinth.com/datapack/amplified-nether-height

But I’m still unsure if I can build a hoglin farm specifically, or even a gold farm in the future. Will piglins still spawn up there? As well as hoglins? I know that hoglins spawn at the crimson biome, but I was using my Lunar Client’s minimap + biome indicator and I was standing over a crimson forest but the biome indicator said plains. Is there a way to fix the biome stuff, or will the farm still work anyway?

yes, mobs will still spawn.

the "plains" thing happens when you install the height-increase datapack on an existing nether. you cannot do anything about it unless you reset your nether, in which case it will revert to normal again
