what server host are you using and how much RAM does your server have?
This question might be better geared for Chunky to answer
I can recommend using it, but I don't know how to give support for it
if you're interested, that's the server for Chunky
Already asked there
What’s the minimum or recommended requirement of a server host?
Mine is this 12 gb one but 9gb only was allocated to the smp
as long as you pregen, then you don't really have to take Terralith into account when deciding how much RAM to use
depends more on your playercount at that point
for a small group of players, 9GB should be more than enough
So as long as the world is done pre-generation it wouldn’t cause an issue?
mostly. sometimes generating chunks that have a lot of flowing water can cause some performance spikes, but otherwise yeah it's all good
Well since it is done pre-generating everything shouldn’t be an issue right?
i give the same answer
even when pregenning, it doesnt keep the chunk loaded long enoguh to generate all the flowing water. so when you "re"-discover the chunk, the water will continue flowing where it left off
Fair enough
it's normally not a huge deal, but every once in a while it can give a lag spike
Thank G I pre-generated it on 10k radius to control everything with the current machine spec I have
