What type of server (vanilla, paper, fabric) are you running, and what's the file extension of the amplified nether file you downloaded

paper 1.18.1, I downloaded the amplified nether from github and it's for the same minecraft cersion

out of curiosity, why not 1.18.2?

i doubt it, but because 1.18.1 is such a rarely used version now, theres a small chance that the version is just bugged for some reason

yeah i would just recommend updating to 1.18.2 and cleaning your files up

can you confirm:

you put the datapack in the world/datapacks folder?
you deleted the region folder inside the world_the_nether/DIM-1 folder?

I used the hosts UI... that could be it
