Hey, running into issue where we cannot mine amethyst blocks in the nullscape:crystal_peaks biome of the extended end. Is this a bug or is this intentional from the datapack?

Which Stardust datapacks/mods are you using?
Using:
Terralith v2.3.2
Incendium v5.1.1
Nullscape v1.2a

What Minecraft version?
Minecraft Java 1.19

Datapack or mod?
Plugins:
-Bookshelf
-Brewery
-Mini Blocks (Bukkit)
-DropHeads (Bukkit)
-Vanilla and Custom Crafting
-Magic (Spigot)

Singleplayer or Server?
Server - Paper 1.19

are you saying amethyst blocks can't be mined or that they aren't dropping when broken?

they have a few plugins there so could very well be a plugin skill issue

I think in one of the earlier Nullscape versions amethyst blocks only dropped 10% of the time in the End (might still be there, not sure)

You have an 1 in 8 chance to drop amethyst blocks in that biome

it is completely intended that they do not drop amethyst (or maybe a small chance as Tera said; not sure)

that would be a bit overpowered so it encourages you to go mine in amethyst geodes instead

If I wanted to modify that drop rate slightly, where would I do that? Or not possible?

Also like, what if someone built an amethyst castle in the Nullscape? Would all that amethyst be lost now? And if someone made the journey all the way out to one of these biomes, I think they deserve whatever they find.

Also also, have been testing (both crystal_peaks & shadowlands) and haven't gotten any drops from amethyst so not sure where the 1 in 8 chance came from? Might just be unlucky.

the loot table should be in either data/nullscape/loot_tables or data/minecraft/loot_tables

if you simply remove the file it should drop normally

the thought process of the reduced/zero drops (honestly dont remember which; if you said they arent dropping anything, then that's it) was that amethyst is so abundant that it would make amethyst geodes/farms in the overworld useless due to the sheer about you can get in the end

yeah, the amethyst buds grow the crystals

its annoying cause you cant move the buds, but they are farmable
