• I have a 2TB external harddrive that I currently dont use, I could attach it. It's wall powered and uses USB to connect
• I could buy a small drive enclosure for multiple drives and attach that.

Obviously the first comes at no addititional cost and the second would, but with the second I could also get fresh WD Red drives instead of whatever this external one has that is 5+ years old by now. The enclosure could also house multiple drives so it might be useful for expansion down the road.

i'm currently encoding a h264 movie to h265 (i'm keeping the original audio codecs so that also adds a bit to the filesize) - I estimate that the final file will be ~5.5GB (13.9GB is original)
