So I can’t type in anything

Unfortunately in order to host the raid channel has to be completely clear from other raids collecting ppl (note: premium supporters and verified hosts bypass this) This is in order to make sure the bot doesn’t bypass discords limits and the raids get enough ppl. Would recommend typing out the host command in another chat (don’t send) and then copying it so you can paste it in #996119637475467355 whenever you get an opportunity. Hope this helps!

The best way to turn it off is actually to log out of discord and log back in. If that doesn’t solve it, then try to reinstall discord. It’s actually a discord bug.

So the reason you can’t type sometimes is that only one raid can be hosted at a time in the channel as discord limits how much the bot can do at one time. However verified hosts who have hosted for 500ppl and premium supporters can bypass this which is likely what you saw

Pinging a mod as the host does not save the lobby, as we don't want hosts to trap themselves in a lobby.
So maybe try pinging manually before closing to get us notified. Then hitting the red button should save the lobby
