Only 1 person can host at a time. You won't be able to write anything until the current raid being hosted is FULL or the Raidbot sends a message that there were not enough people. Verified Hosts and Patreon Supporters can bypass this and type at any time.

That is usually because your discord is delayed so your client thinks the channel is read only when it is updated.

It is very difficult to host during raidhour if you are not a VH or patreon supporter unfortunately. There will be a lot of delays and waiting for hosting

Just to quickly clarify, if a user fails to respond in time for the start of a raid in a lobby but eventually responds after the raid has already started but before the lobby is closed, should I still use the ⚠️ reaction to alert a mod?

I'm generally pretty understanding, so if a user eventually responds and apologizes or whatever, I see no reason to alert the authorities 😛
Though I wasn't sure if this was standard operating procedure and figured I should check and make sure. 😁

Usually it's because someone else is alrdy hosting. Unless you're a patreon or verified host, you won't be able to send msgs if someone else is hosting. Sometimes the raidbot glitches though so if no one is hosting and you can't type just ping for mods here to help unlock the channel
