So for example, you would get the message from raidbot that pings everyone to add you. After, people might type “added ty.” You send the invite, and make sure everyone is in. After, type “-rehost” in the private channel and the raidbot will automatically rehost your raid in the respective Pokémon raid channel

After, you just sit tight and wait for new raiders to show up :)

The bot will ping the new raiders to add you and so on

I know the info is available on the discord, but pephaps it should be made more accessible to people so that there would be fewer problems with difficult legendary bosses? And also how can I point people to the right place to find information on counters to use for a raid boss?

Thanks guys, of course there are people who don’t have the best counters and that is understandable, but recently i have been seeing very inopportune choices that make no sense against palkia. But thanks for the info, I will try to be helpful if I notice people are not informed enough in my lobbies.

I personally always send a image of the counters in the beginning when everyone’s says “added” so they can see it. Same when I join raids. You can do the same or contact @simple stone and ask them to maybe put the image into the bot somehow which probably would have some bad sides too.. it’s better to do it on your own

Need help understanding. So if I typo the hosting command or accidentally paste incorrectly in the raid channel, I get muted for an hour? Really? The bot deletes the invalid text before it ever even hits the channel so no harm is done. Seems a bit extreme - why so draconian?

Alright. I didn't know who to contact, and was muted so I couldn't @ anyone for obvious reasons. I've saved the ModMail username in my DM so I can contact them next time if it ever happens again. I'll try to be more careful, but half the time you only have 0.25 seconds to post a raid before another one pops in and locks the channel so I pasted and sent in a hurry, and pasted the wrong string. Thanks for the info.

Hey there. That is an in-game glitch, a rather common one actually. It's either bc the host invited you to a raid that is under 2 min or just a glitch on the game.

if this happens, see if other players in the lobby struggle with the same issue; if yes, then it's probably the former. You can ping mod in the channel to notify them if that is the case

Still having an issue with Heracross raids this morning I was one of 6 a couple of times and I was not selected by bot. Palkia raids are working fine. Could someone please fix this?

My dudes in the mods, you should really add another text channel for legendary Pokémon raiding, for me on phone, its close to impossible to try host a Palkia raid when people on PC are 10 times faster. I been trying to post for 10 min but I just couldn’t. It would really help and make it easier for us who try to host, and it doesn’t make it a slaughter house. As well if it would be non active a certain time a day, it at least fixes the bottle neck that is during the active time.

It takes procs 27 sec to find 5 people for Palkia raid, it takes less than a second for a new post. That split second is not enough time. As described, it is a slaughter house at the most active times, and when it’s not, it doesn’t hurt to have a non-active chat.

Occasionally, when I'm hosting raids, there are people whose IGN does not match the one mentioned in their Discord account in this server. I know that, per server rules, I'm not obliged to invite those people; however, what would be the proper thing to do in these cases? It's a bit rude to just not invite them, but if they're flaunting the rules and we're just looking the other way, then why have the rule in the first place?
