After requesting a re-invite the host closed the lobby.
Now myself and at least two others lost a remote pass with not even an apology

Botmans are working on making the bot a bit better based on the outcome of gofest, though usually our changes get overwhelmed by next year anyway. (We didnt expect bot having to handle 15000 active users and lobbying at first so) @warm creek

Yea, I mean the only real way around it is to run multiple instances of the bot, potentially even on different servers (e.g. PGR Go Fest Valor, PGR Go Fest In-stink-t and PGR Go Fest Mystink)

And Discord doesn't usually like you running multiple of the same bot to bypass API limits

Think it might even be against the ToS.

So instead of 1 "RaidBot"

You'd have RaidBot 1, RaidBot 2, RaidBot 3, etc etc

And they're restricted to their own channels

e.g. RaidBot 1 in #gofest-valor, RaidBot 2 in #gofest-mystink and RaidBot 3 in #gofest-instinkt

As long as there's no overlap, should be fine

I'd help out if I can in anyway, I've written bots for Discord before. I made one for a RuneScape discord for managing events (reaction orders) as well as like checking people's roles to see if they meet requirements, etc.

Nothing close to as complicated as RaidBot, and compared to PGR, it's a much much smaller community

Theoretically the amount of stress on the bot would still be the same, the lag issues come from the mass amount of users / commands, we get the same lag with Dyno.
