yes, I've experienced it not mattering much when raids fill in a few seconds so you can text. but like right now to me regigas has been permalocked since vh can text without any handicaps and I've seen 3 vhs texting over another, or texing when there is a raid call going on which doesn't seem ethical to me.

and I've been literally standing by a road for 15 minutes trying to text in a chat so i can do a raid. i don't buy remote raids, so i can't just join upto others and i don't leave my house often to do them some other time. bad luck i guess.

i do understand the value of VH since they've spent time and effort to keep server alive and going, but to some extent their power seems abusive for casuals like me.

Yea I can appreciate your frustration. #854569873753636895 is pretty bad right now I will admit with even VHs trying to squeeze in. Honestly, I think the best thing you could do is just wait for raid hour to end. It might not be a good solution for you, but I think its the one that at least will alleviate some frustration of struggling to get in a host.
Just so you know, I have raised the issue to other staff members.

the most annoying part is that some VHs are running their 2nd-3rd runs whereas i gave up after 15 minutes cause i got tired of waiting with bags on my arms. the only solution seems to become a VH by myself to abuse the system (which again isn't ethical) unless there are some fundamental changes to how VH system works.

Only 1 person can host at a time. You won't be able to write anything until the current raid being hosted is FULL or the Raidbot sends a message that there were not enough people. Verified Hosts and Patreon Supporters can bypass this and type at any time.

That just means you need a specific role to view the channel, in this case it is the member role. When you first join you can only see the channels without the lock on it.

It also helps when the server isn’t at peak hours or during more in demand raids. You can also try and host in #legacy-all-raids. Unfortunately people tend to go for Wb Raids because they’re higher CP typically, but there’s no way to actually verify if a raid is WB or not until you join.

The issue is that every raid is getting around 3-4 reactions.
