Thanks. Best way is to tag the mods when it happens in the raid lobby channel as they can also help find extra people for you if it's needed, but you did good taking screenshots too. Always take them with an issue just in case a mod can't respond to your ping and then you can DM the ModMail after the raid.

So you will need to match the weather type in game, to the type of the Pokemon. For example if it's cloudy this boosts fairy types so Xerneas would be weather boosted.

However something to keep in mind is if you aren't at the gym physically and you are hosting with a remote raid pass, then the weather where the gym is might actually be different to where you are.

The weather condition in-game is displayed on the top right of the main game screen, if you press on the icon it will also display the boosted types

The best way to get to 100 raid hosts is to host low level raids (Bagon, etc) as Host Only, then re-host that same raid as many times as you can. If you catch the raid as soon as it hatches, you can get about 7 host per raid doing that. The #faq and #793767024262119433 give info on that.

Not sure why this rehosting thing is allowed, allowing people to leave without warning. We were literally left in a lobby with a lvl 25 for a mega charizard, and someone else left the raid last second, while everyone else got in. Fortunately we killed with 5 seconds left, but it's not the first time this has happened to me.

If a raid fails due to people leaving, make sure to tag a moderator, he can try to get some other (staff) members to join the raid to defeat the boss. We don’t discriminate on a player’s level so the ‘lower’ levels also have a chance to do harder raids.

A host should make sure at least 1 retry can happen, that’s why the 10 minute rule is in place.

If a host fails to do that you can report him by dm’ing @simple stone.

I'm not saying having lower levels is bad or anything. Just that the rehosting system seems to have some flaws. When one simply types -rehost in the old channel, there's no message like there is when someone simply creates a new one. It just makes it a lot harder to realize it's a hosting raid. And I'm clearly not the only one because otherwise people would have left way sooner if they saw it.

Also the host left with just a few seconds left to the start and closed the room almost right after the raid started. Either that's not how it's supposed to be done or there's a lot of people wasting raid passes.

They're not supposed to close the room before the raid is completed if they're only hosting a legendary or mega raid

Also, when someone rehosts a raid and their original host said "host only", the "Host only" message will still show in the raid channel in the box that shows the active raid needing raiders

Yea I realize that, but for example on this one, we couldn't see the initial message anymore, and I'm speaking for myself when I say that I usually guide myself according to the typed message, not what the box is showing. At least for a first time, I think it's a bit misleading. I had the notification with the tags @ CharizardY @ WeatherBoosted so I instinctively reacted to it.

As for the hosting part, when you have a Xerneas raid around that you would like to host, you can go to the Xerneas raid channel and input the following command -host Xerneas 6 6. The numbers stand for the minimum number of people and maximum number of people respectively.

You can make one for yourself, you just have to wait for the last person to be done hosting. While the lobby is waiting to fill it will lock the channel. When nobody else is trying to host you can use the -host command to create your own.
