I believe this can happen if your device/connection is a little delayed, so it allowed you to send the message but when it realised the channel was actually locked that error can appear.

Host 100 raids and be in the server at least 1 month. If you have received warnings these may affect your eligibility. You can check how many raids you have hosted by going to #commands and typing –info.

Problem is there is a lot of people wanting to host but not as many people looking to join. If there were multiple hosts over different channels there's a good chance some of the raids wouldn't fill up.

weather boosted isn't regulated here though, because the weather can change and if remote hosting then the host might not be able to tell if the raid is actually weather boosted if the gym is in a different weather cell to them. You'd probably end up with people just hosting there anyway even if they knew it wasn't weather boosted.

Yeah the main issue is just demand. If you look in #821085109981020250 there was actually 3 raids open at once a minute or two ago due to verified hosts. And 2 of them didn't get enough people to join. When demand is higher the channels are usually split into teams

@prisma umbra Best tip I can give if you wish to bypass the restriction is work up to Verified Host at less busy times (when it's not raid hour or with other raid bosses such as 1* or 3*) You can also consider supporting the server on #764591910303039489 if you wish.

A patreon membership is $3 a month. It’s actually pretty reasonable, I think. But all you have to do to be verified is to apply. The application is pretty easy. You just have to have been a member for over a month, I believe, and hosted 100 raids.

Secondly, believe it or not the server has grown substantially. With increasing players comes increasing changes. It isn't a pay gate. You can grind to get the same privileges for free by racking up hosts.

Being a supporter is not forced or necessary the only time it matters is on raid hour aka Wednesday what does it give you? Verified Hosts and Patreon Supporters will have typing permissions at all times allowing them to host their raid at any instance. Raidbot will always host raids from them, rather than ignoring.

since you've been gone, the server has grown, by over 100x. of course there will be different members. the ones who have been here the longest have left or are admins. that is why we are trying to help you

idk when its warm out i host raids like crazy but i can see this isnt a worry anymore to this group and me trying to help everyone out by hosting raids is just hurting this specific community, im sure theres another group somewhere that would love someone that hosts consistently. ill just go find another group

Hi Monzo, I don’t think this is the right venue for this conversation anymore. If you have hosted a lot of raids before the bot system, maybe our admin team can help out. They have been around longer than a lot of us who found the server later and may be able to verify the fact that you hosted more. Please shoot @simple stone a message and we can have the mods/admin who have been around longer, but may not currently be online take a look and confirm.
