I would recommend also reaching out to the folks at Niantic - https://niantic.helpshift.com/a/pokemon-go/?s=get-in-touch&f=how-to-contact-support&p=web - and tell them you bought a remote raid pass but were unable to complete the raid and lost the pass. Sometimes they will refund a pass if you bought it.

Using the rehost command (-rehost) is mandatory if you are rehosting as it prevents people in your previous lobbies from joining the same gym.

When you rehost, lets say a spindle, it prevents people who just beat the spindle from joining your raid again which makes sense since they cant fight it again.

Problem solved... this can happen if you have text to send in the box when the channel is locked. The solution is to delete the text and re-enter it. If this does not work delete it and restart the app.
