Okay, if the previous raid lobby is not FULL yet. You can only post in a raid channel if the lobby before you is FULL, if there is one open you have to wait until it is full then you can write in the channel. This is the reason you can't host a raid currently, the channels are very full.

you can be notified of all raids and then mute the other channels. but since it will be gone soon, it is easier for admins to just update roles whenever a new rotation is about to start. this assumes that people would already have reacted to raids they want when they get added to the previous rotation
