Go to a raid channel ----> choose the pokemon you want to join ----> react to the 👍 emote ----> wait and hope you get into a discord raid lobby ----> add the host ----> he accepts your friend invite in game ----> invites you to the actual raid in game
you'll know you got in a lobby because the bot will ping you and a separate lobby will appear
it's random whether or not you get in though

I just tried to host a Kyurem raid like 3 times. Every time someone else was able to host a raid on top of mine within the last 15-30 seconds. It was then telling me either not enough people joined (false) or I was still considered a host (also false), and the raid failed. I've seen the bot break when two people host at the exact same time, but that's not what happened. It seemed like it was a problem just with me. Any idea what I can do to fix that?

yes, if you click on a raid, you shouldnt click on another. The bot should prevent something bad from happening (not picking you if you are already in a lobby) but the bot isnt perfect, and its not a good practise

How do I get to host raids
Do you want to host a raid but don't know how? The easiest way of hosting is to host in the "raids" category. This includes:
#746059097639616622, #740032536163647520 , #741398609475666031, #mega-raids, #748608284956557460, #748608303084339230, and #740032611900194896
You only need one simple command, and that command is: -host.
To use the host command, you can type, "-host @pokemonname 2 6"
The 2 and the 6 are the minimum and maximum amount of players you want to join. This can be altered according to your liking. Do note that the minimum is 2 but the maximum can be up to 11. (Please do not host for 11 people unless you have two accounts that can invite all of them or you're going to host two batches.)

that means that not enough people joined your raid normally but it's best to check your status in #commands with the -info command to make sure you don't have the host status

We already have people who have done that. They just put there trainer code as 0000 0000 0000 prior to the raid and change it back to their trainer code after.. When they get in the lobby the hosts states the first 5 add this account and the last 5 add this account.. Edited to state Moderator have done this.

yeah, the TLDR is that i want 8 "new" friends every raid (it is ok if not everyone is new, but i imagine most people will be?). i can figure that out after some trial runs. anyway, we both add 8 new people, remote in, private lobby, invite everyone, 68kxp with egg, delete friends, next raid
i would measure the amount of repeated friends as time went by and adjust accordingly (by, say, doing raids at different hours so new people add)

I've hit ultra friends on so many members in here.. I don't even keep them as friends they just happen to raid with me when i host.. So they get the bonuses regardless some message me to inform me to put a lucky egg on.

you can always open the egg after getting the "friendship increased" notification. the XP only rolls in when you are idle and get the "you are now ultra friends!"
if you tap fast enough (which is some 2~5 seconds) you can just open the inventory and pop the egg 😛 but obviously you would have missed 10k xp of the raid
