to join a raid: Go to a raid channel ----> choose the pokemon you want to join ----> react to the 👍 emote ----> wait and hope you get into a discord raid lobby ----> add the host ----> he accepts your friend invite in game ----> invites you to the actual raid in game

you do "-host PokemonName min max" where min is the number of ppl you need, and max is the number of ppl you can invite (counting yourself). So, if you are hosting Mesprit, you think you need at least 4ppl, but can invite 5, you do "-host Mesprit 5 6"

to join a raid: Go to a raid channel ----> choose the pokemon you want to join ----> react to the 👍 emote ----> wait and hope you get into a discord raid lobby ----> add the host ----> he accepts your friend invite in game ----> invites you to the actual raid in game

instead of camping in the raid channel, you can go to #select-raid-roles and select the pokemon you want to get pinged where there is one

@noble sphinx it lets people know that someone knows how to host without problems with 100+ hosts. so if you are new they will mostlikely help you more if it's your first raid

and we have a seperate channel where we can host all the time even when it's super busy like with raid hours. not having to wait till the previous lobby is full

Do you want to host a raid but don't know how? The easiest way of hosting is to host in the "raids" category. This includes:

#heatran, #740032536163647520 , #weather-boosted, #mega-raids, #mega-blastoise, #mega-venusaur, and #740032611900194896

You only need one simple command, and that command is: -host.

To use the host command, you can type, "-host @pokemonname 2 6"

The 2 and the 6 are the minimum and maximum amount of players you want to join. This can be altered according to your liking. Do note that the minimum is 2 but the maximum can be up to 11. (Please do not host for 11 people unless you have two accounts that can invite all of them or you're going to host two batches.)

if you need to see all the commands you can use, please type : -help

If you have inquiries, please do not hesitate to ask the staff members. Thank you very much! 🙂

You only need one simple command, and that command is: -host.

To use the host command, you can type, "-host @pokemonname 2 6"

The 2 and the 6 are the minimum and maximum amount of players you want to join. This can be altered according to your liking. Do note that the minimum is 2 but the maximum can be up to 11. (Please do not host for 11 people unless you have two accounts that can invite all of them or you're going to host two batches.)

Quick question while I'm here.
I believe I was temporarily bannedf from #740032611900194896 earlier because I attempted to -rehost once and then later in the hour a second time while I still had the prior raid lobby open because I was waiting for a Moderator to acknowledge the report of inactive/afk raiders in my lobby channel.
I figured I have to leave the channel open before -closing or else the chat log will disappear. In the future is there another way to go about this which doesn't block me from rehosting but will allow the Moderators to view the channel context/report?

So for particular mons, like Lugia for example, the minimum for hosting had to be 6 players. Often including the host. But you could do the jump-out-in trick and invite another set of 4-5 players to help make the raid easier.

If someone is "hosting only" for the raid, they still have to make sure the raid they provided for the raiders was successful. otherwise they get reported for not retrying the gym
