So, how does this work? I click the thumbs up and if I'm randomly selected I'll get a raid invite? How does the invite get sent? Does the host have to add all 5 people as friends?

No if you get selected you will get put into a lobby where you add the host and he sends an invite

Information on how to join and host raids are also included.  To be able to access the channels you'll need to set up your at #profile-setup with ( -name Pokemon Go name ) and enter then (-fc xxxx xxxx xxxx )  your friend code.. @sturdy elk There is no I guess interchangable system, if you wanted to switch pogo accounts to lets say an alternate account, you would have to change information in #profile-setup every time.

If you could copy pasteit somewhere, you could easily switch accoutns in 20 seconds.

You will only have 1 profile on this server, if you want to change accouonts, all you have to do is rego to #profile-setup and alter the information. That would only take 30 seconds to do.

If you are joining, you are unlikely to have 2 seperate acounts join a raid.

@sturdy elk Discord is a great option, I can totally understand you wanting a pokemon for both accounts, however if there was a system present like that it can easily be abused.

@sturdy elk If you would like, you can use the legacy raid channels where bots are not used, you can communicate with players and you can easily get both accounts for a raid.

Its the host's responsibility to invite everyone into the party.

When you get into a raid channel, more instructions will be present for you to read if necessary.

But all joiners always add the host's friendcode.

@native peak it won't change your nickname it just stores your username and friend code in a database and it will tell the host your username when you join a raid and when you host one the bot will tell the people in the raid your friend code

I experienced unforeseen technical issues after the lobby was created that prevented me from inviting anyone to (or generally partaking in) a raid, but I notified the players in the lobby of that fact and waited a minute to give everyone a chance to read it before closing the lobby. @smoky bison The correct thing you could have done was ping a moderator for assistance, as one of their main jobs is to monitor these private raid lobbies you have. it sucks that technicaly issues occured and its good you informed them, however you still cannot close the lobby until everyone finishes the raid.

I believe that there was a technical issue, however if everyone used that excuses, whether it was true or not, there wouldnt be a good system.

The best thing you can do is try to prevent this in the future by doing things that can speed up invites such as the copy paste list i told you about present at the bottom of raid lobbies.

Warnings dont prevent you from acessing the server, but of course multiple warnings I guess could get you removed from the server.

But context and time matters as well, if someone were to be mishosting raids every single day, it looks bad. Maybe a 1 month gap? I dont think thats bad at all.

I don't know how the backend of the server looks like and what is possible to include in this RNG-process. But maybe it would be a good idea if the bot prefers people with a value hosted * 5 > fought. So if host a raid, I get a bigger chance to join a raid. Cause I helped 5 other people. That would motivate everybody to host a raid too instead of only join.

That is of couse a little problem for people in rural areas without gym...

And not everyone is able to be a good host.
