Hi @lone heron. If you can't type in the channel, it is likely that another person is currently trying to host a raid. Only one raid can be hosted at a time with the exception of Verified Hosts or Legendary & Mythical Supporters. When a channel is locked, Discord will display a 'Done Reading?' message. This is normal, and once the channel unlocks, it will go away. Raid channels will unlock when no active raid is being hosted. If you are still having other issues, check out #how-to-raid for more detailed help.

Host lower tier pokemon or legendaries that have demand with high lobby counts for a while. Thats it. It took me a few months to do that but you get upper hand hosting during events. Or pay, but i think paying for a discord server isn't the best use of money. Just my opinion though

I'm not asking how to become a host, I'm asking why the system is built on a 'feed the rich' kind of mindset (and why the bot is so inconsistent)

The problem is that there is not nearly enough supply of raiders. And that is even before you take into account that one host needs multiple raiders.

There simply has to be a solution to reduce the number of hosts, and that is the way this server has chosen to organize it. Those people are essentially "rewarded" for their consistent hosting by having priority during high demand events.

As for inconsistencies, I'm not sure what you mean. There will always be a bunch of people ready to jump as soon as they can post, so it becomes a gamble with what message goes through first. That's kind of just how discord as a platform ends up being.

Only one raid can be hosted at a time with the exception of Verified Hosts or Legendary & Mythical Supporters. When a channel is locked, Discord will display a 'Done Reading?' message. This is normal, and once the channel unlocks, it will go away. Raid channels will unlock when no active raid is being hosted. If you are still having other issues, check out #how-to-raid for more detailed help.

When someone hosts a raid, you can click the thumbs up emoji and if you successfully join a raid, you will be pinged to a private raid lobby. There aren't any celesteela raids being hosted rn but you can select the raid role in #select-raid-roles to be notified when one is being hosted.

Hi I don’t understand why Regice is only a 4 4 thing because I was in a team of 4 we lost never got it to yellow and my Pokémon was the last one it needs more people then just 4 people more like 10 so can someone please fix that

Because it is a dynamax pokemon, the maximum number of people in a single can only be four. If your 4 was not able to beat it, I suggest powering up a good healer/wall like blissey, and a zamazenta or zacian with behmoth bash. You can also bring a GMax machamp

Ice is a bad type from a defensive standpoint - it’s weak to steel, rock, fire, and fighting. Lot of the dmax/GMax pokemon out right now are good against it

Hi @fluid shore. If you can't type in the channel, it is likely that another person is currently trying to host a raid. Only one raid can be hosted at a time with the exception of Verified Hosts or Legendary & Mythical Supporters. When a channel is locked, Discord will display a 'Done Reading?' message. This is normal, and once the channel unlocks, it will go away. Raid channels will unlock when no active raid is being hosted. If you are still having other issues, check out #how-to-raid for more detailed help.
